I have a prop replica of Samwise's sword that I would like Sean Astin to sign, would this be ok security wise? Last time I had to bring one of these swords to be signed the only real rule is that it needed to stay in the packing while it was signed. Is this still the case? Thanks a lot

Always like to catch those when on TV but I'll definitely be meeting him for Highlander and wanting a pic from that. Might even think about getting my DVD cover signed. It was an iconic film for me at the time. Don't normally go for that kind of thing but it's such a rare opportunity I'll have to see how the funds go over the weekend. Oh yeah, don't get me wrong I will definitely be getting Highlander Merch signed...but Fortress will always hold a special place in my cinematic heart...simply for the pure pulp sci-fi it opened my eyes too!

Sideshow Collectables have a European HQ somewhere. For dealers like yourself and the memorbili@ collectors out there I think it could be quite good. Sorry Nicky but Sideshow don't have a European HQ...all they have is a sub contracted warehouse in Kent that delivers to their European customers Though I have to say I really like the idea!

I imagine what that quote means is that in 1993 at THAT convention he signed a contract for his autograph I would find it highly unlikely that he still has such a contract stipulated and if so I am sure SM would have let us know when they announced him. Plus the fact this is from IMDB, not the most reliable source for, well, anything.

I have more then a few friends who don't have the interenet at home (one who uses it for 2hrs a week at the library) and two friends that don't have much time to go on it, and I don't think it should be my job to update them on guests that I know about and they don't due to the guests only being on the forums and not the main home page. Basically I have friends who find it hard if the information is not on the main homepage to find it, and I just wanted really to know why some showmasters events homepages take so long to get updated or look like they are never getting updated. I'm not reallc complaining and I know Showmasters are the ones that want the business not me, so surely its in there best interest to keep the homepage as uptodate as possible is it not? I know I can find the info and give it to my friends but then if everyone who went on the forums did that, the homepages would never need to be updated and you may loose hundreds of new customes who suddenly stumble upon a showemaster/massive events events homepage. Personally I worry because I don't want people who are unaware of SM events to simply see the main page and leave thinking they went out of business...the more attendees (thus bigger guests etc) the better, for all of us!
