  1. Here are my photoshoot images, I forgot my camera so my friend took some table shots with his camera for me; he's already posted a link to his facebook. And finally
  2. Insert picard.jpg here....... My pleasure
  3. Bruce didn't sign some comics if memory serves me correctly. I'm thinking they were not authorized by him or something like that. Ah yes it was an Army of Darkness series which was a bootleg of sorts.
  4. Her CD isn't available in the UK but you can probably get it on import. I've not looked lately but I couldn't get an imported copy when I looked earlier this year, might be worth another look
  5. David did indeed seem very friendly and happy to be at the event, unfortunately when I got my autographs he was in conversation with the lady to his right while signing my pictures. As he was so busy I was impressed he managed to interact with as many people as he did, I hope he'll consider returning some time in the future :)
  6. Here are a few pictures from the event and my photoshoots: Facebook Album
  7. He was the one guest that I actually managed to have a chat with, he seemed like the kind of guy it would be great to have a few pints with
  8. Generally at events it's easy to strike up conversations with random people
  9. Thanks for the info, things should be much easier now
  10. I'm not sure if this subject has been brought up before but I was wondering if anyone has used the cloakrooms before? I'm travelling back to Stoke on the Sunday and was wondering if it would be possible to store bags in the cloakrooms so I can leave straight from the event. Thanks Mike
  11. The Oliver Twins, the creators of Dizzy. Oliver Twins (I'm showing my age with this suggestion!)
  12. If it's as busy as LFCC you can expect to queue for a long time before getting through the doors. If you're intending to meet guests likely to be busy it pays to get there early so you can get through the doors and get a low numbered VQ ticket.
  13. Chesney Hawkes He was in 'Buddy's Song' back in 1991 which sparked his singing career, he's not done much acting since (a few tiny roles) but he still writes songs and regularly tours with his band. Chesney Hawkes - Official Site I'm not sure if he'd consider such an event or how popular he'd be; but I thought I'd support the topic with the suggestion!
  14. Maybe get Tanya Roberts too and have a BeastMaster reunion!
  15. It's been a while since she's been to an event, I'd love to ask her to marrry me meet her again. I'm sure others would like the chance to meet her, she was a lovely guest. Singer/Songwriter Aunt Beru in Star Wars Episodes II and III
  16. I've had problems with all coloured ink over the years, I've had two written in black ink from this show damaged. You just have to be very sure the ink is dry before they go into the £1 protectors, perhaps it is best to use something else to store them in while at the event which won't press them so hard.
  17. It's not perfect; but having re-watched it recently I'd forgotten how good it actually was.
  18. The only one of real note was what what Dirk wrote in his book for me. Mike One of the few things of which I am proud... This book! Chew Well - Dirk Benedict 1.11.08
  19. Generally speaking I don't buy anything other than autographs at these events but since there wasn't many guests I wanted to meet I indulged and brought a poster. Which I very nearly left behind! I'd put it down while sorting out autographs in a quiet spot and walked off without it, thankfully it was still there when I realised a few minutes later and went back. A massive thanks to all you honest folk!
  20. She's looking pretty good for her age! Hence my slightly embarassed expression
