If I was to buy a photoshoot ticket online today (the night before the event) would I simply take my order confirmation with me and collect the ticket at the event?

I'm personally finding the auctions to be a little poor myself. I agree with what's already been said about the items up for grabs all being either mugs or shirts from other cons, autos that aren't particularly rare, or twilight related stuff. It's a little irritating. Maybe they'll have some better things at CML later in the year.

Okay, i went on sunday and here's a brief summary of my guest experiences with each of them. Matthew Lewis was genuinely friendly and interested. He was just really easy to meet and talk to. He was also happy to give hugs in the photoshoot which was really nice of him. Top guest for me. I'd love to meet him again. Andrew Clover had his own thing going. Ended up talking to him about making a film he told me i had to make. Brilliant experience with a guest for me there then! Not had that before. Also had his own version of 'Posed photographs'. I think he said he was aiming for " Genuinely creepy". Brilliant man. I also liked meeting Liz Sladen. Despite the unexpected popularity of her auto desk she was still trying. I do feel sort of bad for her, she obviously wanted to spend more time with people but was being rushed along. She remebered me from the photoshoot too which was rather nice too. Tony Marshall was also rather conversational and a friendly guy. I think it was a nice place to start my day meeting him. Talked about his appearence at the end of Ashes to ashes and how he was happy to be asked. Great guest. Geff Francis was also friendly but I didn't really get much from him except a hello and what's your name unfortuanately. If i'd had something to say then my thoughts on him may have been a bit different but for me he unfortunately became 'just another guest' which was a shame. Have to say i was a little dissapointed in Edi Gathegi. Lacking enthusiasm i think. (I know you can't win them all but it's still bugging). However saying this, despite ruling out certain things at the photoshoot he did look like he was trying to make a better impression there. Sean Young was a bit down too i think. Well at least she was when she'd just come in. I do however think she settled into it and became more friendly later on though. Bad timing on my part that one. However it was still nice to meet her. Her photoshoot was rather comfortable too and they turned out well. She did appear to be friendly enough and I am glad I met her. Overall some great guests. If I had a bigger budget then I could have met the three/four other guests on my list... but alas, twas not meant to be. Will save up in advance for next time.

Agreed. Meeting Matthew by far made my day. I'd love to meet him again. Big thanks to him for being a star on Sunday. I actually had a proper conversation with him.

I think the problem with asking them to keep a schedule is also that you don't know if any issues have arisen they need to take care of or anything. They may even be feeling somewhat unwell. I do get your point though. It is a big pain when guests go AWOL. I was one of the first few people to see Sean when she arrived so i didn't even know about this happening. Like someone above said though, she did have an open queue for pretty much all of Sunday. I'm sorry things didn't work out for you as you'd hoped. I know i'd be irritated if it had happened to me.

I wasn't there today so i don't know but someone said the other day that they thought he'd cancelled two days ago. Don't know how reliable they were but thats what i heard.

Okay, i feel silly asking but it's been bugging me and i'd just like to check. If you have two photoshoot tickets for the same person, (both for you), do you go by the earliest number you have when it's batch is called? I've never attended when they've called Photoshoots by numbers before so i just wanted to check this. (As i'm debating picking up another ticket on the day). Thanks in advance.

I'm meeting her for both an Auto and Photoshoot.

A few normal mundane things: - Charge Camera and empty memory card. - Buy stuff for packed lunch and make it up. - Get loaned money off parents and get wages from bank. - Separate money into Autographs and Stalls piles. - Print off my rough timetable for the day. - Arrange when i'm meeting with friend who has to stay over night before. - Get autograph folder out and remember to take it with me this time.

And again two less guests i can meet due to day change. Seriously unlucky this year i swear.... Oh well.

Spooks guests please! The show will be back in mainstream by this event again too with series 9 and they have plenty of new cast members for it. Ashes to ashes would again be nice now that the series is over. Would still love to meet a few characters i haven't been able to meet yet. LOTR guests are always good too and The Matrix being a fav film of mine i wouldn't mind more of these guests seeing as we already have 3. So my guest want's are as follows: Nicola Walker!!!! I'm gonna be jumping around like a nutter on Saturday as i'm only going on the Sunday. I bet i'll be all packed and ready to go by Thursday afternoon though.
