You costume is truly amazing and you look GREAT!! One question though... How on earth do you manage to spend all day in those fabulous shoes!?! My feet would DIE!!!!

I'm hoping it's ok for me to use this thread to ask a quick question!... We are planning on heading up for the Sunday; I'm buying my other half tickets for all the Shatner related things as he's a massive fan. So, my question is, if I buy a photo op ticket will the photo op be BEFORE 11am (ie do I have to get us £10 entry tickets as opposed to £5 standard entry)?

Part of the problem with organising wrestlers for cons is that wrestling isn't like any other area of the entertainment industry. Wrestlers can be amongst the most unreliable people on the planet! You have to have, or have someone on board who has, a REAL understanding of the wrestling industry in order to make something like this even plausible. As a part of the British Wrestling industry it would be GREAT to see a really successful convention put together where we can use the draw of the imported guests to increase the exposure of our home grown talent, more and more of which are starting to make a name for themselves across the pond. As great as that is, it is a real shame that we can't keep that talent here!!! Over recent years we have lost (or have massively reduced exposure of) about half a dozen of our top big guys! So, yes, with the right people on board I think that there is massive business in wrestling conventions and it is really something that somebody, somewhere should be looking in to...

I had so much fun last year and was really looking forward to this year's event. I notice that there is no mention of hoping to hold the event some other time so it must be a really big issue that they can't get over. What a shame!! Now I owe my other half a Birthday present!!

Same here! I'm in Biggleswade, just up the road. Although we've treated ourselves to a weekend in The Swan to add to the BTL Experience!

As I think I have said before on this forum I'm a huge fan of Live British Wrestling, at the moment I am mainly following FWA, but I'm interested to see how PW101 do bringing over Kendrick. I don't have the money for Sky and/or DVDs so the only way I keep up with WWE/TNA/RoH is on the forums. I know I could download but it's such a hassle! I usually manage to catch 'Mania but it's on a 'school night' (I'm a primary school teacher) this year so I'll even miss that!

I was at the TNA Show in Wembley last week, thought it was a good show, although some of the stuff those guys will do is unbelieveable!! I had a great time catching up with everyone. Anyone else catch this tour and have any thoughts on it!?

My top three favourite people to watch at the moment are - 1 - Bryan Danielson...Best in the World...not matter what people try and say about Davey Richards... 2 - Zack Sabre Jr. - I'll pimp this guy forever...one of the VERY best on the British scene...and the only wrestler that can still make me 'believe'... 3 - Johnny Moss...Because he is massive...and looks like he hurts people! I can't really pick "all time" favourites...I guess my only one would be 'Taker...since he's pretty much the reason I am a wrestling fan...I will also always LOVE Spanky/Brian Jendrick...but that's not really got an awful lot to do with his wrestling ability!

Pac is incredible and a nice guy to boot. His stuff has improved so much with all the opportunities he has had to work with guys from the US and the guys he works with in DragonGate. I have real trouble keeping up with him when I am shooting one of his matches!

Kaz asked for a release but AJ and Daniels talked management into coming to a deal to keep him on. Word is that AJ is very unhappy in TNA.

...but I'm a horribly organised little soul! So I wondered who had got their room booked already? According to the Park Inn website there is no availability. However, Late Rooms is doing bargain prices on the Swan, just over the river. That's what my other half and I have gone for, a bit of a luxury treat! Best part of £500 worth of hotel room for just over £200...couldn't say no really!!! I am so stupidly excited about BTL2!!!! It can't come soon enough!!!!

The Gold Pass Meet and Greet thing didn't bother us at all, there were plenty of opportunitie for us to meet people over the weekend. I was just glad of a corner to sit in and as much free Rose as I could stomach! Getting wasted for 'free' was the sole purpose for me

Got ours at BTL1 as well...I think we're Gold 13 and 14....or maybe 12 and 13...find our when they come I suppose!

Apparently the Hotel said that they would be running the special rate again but it wasn't on their system yet. I think they had started taking names for people who wanted to book rooms.

Hey all. I was just wondering if there are any fans of British Wrestling floating around on these boards. I thought it might be nice to have a topic to support the sport on home turf rather than just concentrating on the stuff you can usually only see on TV!

My favourite all time wrestler would have to be the Undertaker. He's so memorable and has outlasted so many! I have two favourite current wrestlers - Spanky and a British guy called Zack Sabre Jr. Spanky is because he is quitepossibly the best looking fella ever and Zack because he is one of the few people on the circuit who can make an old cynic like me still believe! My favourite shows are pretty much anything I can get to see live. I'm a HUGE fan of British Wrestling. I rarely watch any WWE or TNA, although I do to go the live TNA shows if I am asked to work on them. I think the last WWE show I watched was 'Mania! I much prefer my wrestling live Hmmmm favourite all time match...that's hard...I've seen SOOOOOO much good stuff although the one that stands out is Zack Sabre Jr vs Bryan Danielson. It was in a tiny little venue with about 50 people there but those two pulled out all the stops and gave us a wrestling master class! I think I've waffled on quite enough...althoguh I may think of more!
