I can actually attend now as I was tied up with family stuff on the original dates.

Not when it's the biggest family gathering in over 10 years with over 30 members comming for it. It's also a 3 hour drive to Glasgow.

Trust you guys to come up with the good ideas when I can't come! I shall be attending a huge family get together for my dads 70th the weekend of CM:G. I was really tempted to skip it and goto CM:G anyway but it would mean the wrath of my sister and thats something nobody should ever have to endure.

I also have that signed pic so I second that suggestion. How about Will Wheaton and Felecia Day?

Hopefully I shall have an Alien suit by then so the marines will actually have a bug to hunt. Gonna mean knocking my austin powers cos on the head for a while tho.

Ah I just noticed what I typed, I had two ways of typing that in my head at the time and seem to have melded them into one reply. Change that last bit to 'some of the time' and it's more accurate. On a related note I just found a Little Britain DVD that I got for xmas years ago at the bottom of a drawer still in it's clear plastic wrapper. Not gonna be me that opens it thats for sure.

Nope, it's the second most over rated rubbish after Little Britain. It's shows like that that make me glad i have Sky, at least then you get some good stuff to watch amongst the crap.... most of the time.

Top of my list is anyone from firefly, second BSG. some Red Dwarf cast have been mentioned but I would love to meet Craig Charles as he also hosted that most geeky of shows Robot Wars! Stargate, Farscape (Wayne Pygram) Alien franchise (John Hurt, Ron Perlman).

Currently in the works is my Mal Reynolds costume of which anyone at the party will have seen the coat. Also just decided to start on an Austin Powers outfit.

What if a few folks group up and put some cash in each towards the running of the party? They could get a cut of the profits based on how much they put into the fund or the like. Would give those peeps an incentive to make the party a success and take some of the financial pressure off Scapey. I'd be up for chipping in some cash.

I got autographs from Casey Biggs, Robert Picardo, Dave Prowse and Kenny Baker. Got signed Firefly pics of Nathan Fillion and Adam Baldwin (was nowhere near enuf Firefly stuff there IMO). 12 unsigned pics from Firefly and BSG. Stark Industries, Cyberdyne and Transformers T-Shirts. Not a bad haul for my first ever con.
