What a great Collectormania Glasgow this year!!!! I picked up loads of signed pics- Danny John Jules, Chris Barrie, Kenny Baker and Paul Freemen from the live guests!!! Also bought signed pics of Daniel Craig, Billy Dee Williams, James Earl Jones, Val Kilmer and Roger Moore!!! Only bought 2 figures, a Sideshow 12" Timothy Dalton as Bond and a perfect loose Luke Bespin (a steal at £2) All in all an amazing weekend (can only comment for Saturday as was not there Sunday!!! See you all next year! Ross

Im actually away to sell all my new SW figs, Indy, Buffy, Tomb Raider etc on ebay... Going to concentrate solely on vintage SW/ Indy, and 12" Sideshow figures !!!!!

I agree with the last few posts! However there are some great stars who live in the UK! I think Val Kilmer lives in London now and again, Robert Vaughan, Joan Collins, Tony Curtis (ok big stars but they have been to English shows)! Getting someone like that would be awesome, and with advertising this could be great! I remember when Dirk Benedict came it was on the Friday teatime news in in the Saturday morning paper. If as other bloggers have stated posters go up now all over Glasgow, or in the Metro newspaper we could get more visitors!!!

Cool Im searching for a nice 45 back Empire Han Bespin and a 30 back Leia Bespin (1st pic)! However if its like last year there won't be any! Heres hoping a vintage SW Dealer is booked!

Hi The guy I knew didnt intend selling the Leia on- it was pretty clear looking at it in hand the name had been replaced!!! Autographed cards really go down to personal preference! I recently got from OfficialPix a dedicated Mark Hamill Luke Jedi signed pic and a similar Carrie Fisher Leia Hoth- will display well with my carded figures! I dont collect the new figures either, but may be tempted by Han Echo Base and Dack as new "vintage" figures! Did you get your Kenner Baggie C3PO removable Limbs in Forbidden Planet- they had a box full of them about 10 years ago in Glasgow and were selling them for about £5! Saw a story on the UK SW collectors forum about a guy who went into an old Toyshop that was closing down about a year ago and bought some sealed vintage vehicles the owner was selling in her closing sale- a snowspeeder and Scout Walker from memory! If only I could find something like that! Ross
