Fangtasia was great, pole dancers, Erics chair, great effort but the Sunday night was reeeallly lacking and very disappointing so I hope this years HW2 is impressive as last years HW was great on the Sat night. Loved the decor and the little added bits of fun. They had cocktails at Bitten but they were rubbish so I hope they scrap that idea!

I totally agree with everything you've written above and well done for expressing it. Apart from the Guest Encounter. Todd Lowe didnt only have 2 people at his guest encounter. There were 3 of us on the board and when we went in there were actually 10 in total as they asked more people if they wanted to attend which they did. It was all very nice and chatty and Todd enjoyed it. Its because Sam and Kristin were doing their talk so people went to that instead, also Jim Parracks Guest Encounter was on at the same time which I think they could have done differently to let people go to more than 1. I also forgot to add in my last moan way back that the Q&A session (esp the very last one on Sunday) were appalling. I was cringing for the guests and squirming in my seat because of the long drawn out silences in between the questions and to say "oh I thought one of you was going to come up with something else to say" was a tad rude. The Q&A session should be zappy and fun and its a good job those guests were amusing, forthcoming and friendly to make it what it was. The guests who have done this a long time would have maybe said something or added bits to fill it all in but they were still relatively new and were unsure, I felt as to what was going on in places. Lets hope next year its better :)

They cant even announce the themes for the parties so another guest being announced would be a miracle!

Id love him to but in all fairness, I dont think he will, at all. He might sing for us though, he has a lovely voice.

My partner just made a good point. If someone is there on their own and needs to leave their seat for the toilet why should someone come along and be allowed to take that seat over. Thats like someone sitting in your seat at the cinema, you just wouldnt have it would you lol. I think to leave something like a cardi on the chair is acceptable. People who steal seats are just mean, theres plenty of room for everyone in the talks and to be honest, even at the back, you can hear whats going on and with a nice zoom camera its not bad for shots either. :) I hope it gets sorted for next year :)

Shad, people Ive spoken to have loved the fact that you have the opening ceremony for us to watch, its nice to be able to re look at it and remember how excellent our weekend was. Its a shame that others didnt get permission and completely ignored the no recording rule.

Ive never felt compelled to film the guests at any event Ive been to, meeting them and photos with them is lovely and Id never want to invade their space or privacy like that, its a shame

Id like some really outrageous themes for the Friday and Sunday nights. I also think more people should be encouraged to dress up if they can. Sunday night at Bitten was a dead loss (scuse the pun!). I didnt even end up wearing my civil war outfit and Im glad because there were only about 6 people wearing costumes!

Id love a Maryann style Toga party. Fangastia again definately. For me thats the best bit. A fellowship of the sun party would be amusing. I think that would be good for the Sunday as the chill out party.

I agree, I predicted 250 - 300 before we got there and Id say it was about right. I was so nice to have a smaller event as the ones Ive been to before were huuuuge.

Its a great review, youre very lucky to have been in touch with the cast and it was a great experience for us all as they were amazing guests. Im glad the photo I took of you girls came out nice too. Thankyou for sharing.

Aw nooooo, wont you have time to save etc for it? Im totally poor at the moment after Bitten and wont start my new job for a while so dont even know how Im going to afford train tickets and the hotel never mind an outfit. I may wear a bin bag!

Similar to Angie, I take water bottle in my bag with vodka in then I buy tonics or soda and lime and just add the vodka in the loos discretely. This year we didnt do that we just paid at the bar, it wasnt so bad as I didnt drink that much (not like me at all!)

I dressed up this weekend at Bitten and it was amazing to be part of it all with people taking photos etc. I also dressed up last year at HW. However, this year, I feel that as we are so close now its not giving people enough time to get saving, organised etc so.... PLEASE ANNOUNCE THE THEMES!! Thankyou lol

Kristen is the only female guest from any event Id want to meet more than once, she was fabulous. Shame about the waiting around bits but Im tired out so it must have all been good :-) I agree, roll on Bitten 2

The cheeseburger was lovely. However the pizza wasnt and the minute bowl of nachos with a bit of non spicey chilli over it was a rip off. I paid 15 quid for a bottle of wine which wasnt the best tasting and 5 pounds for vodka and pineapple. The stella was flat last night and the blackthorn tasted funny too. Rant over lol

Were still travelling home! Weve had a fantastic weekend and the guests were amazing. We met some lovely people too. Our only moan is that there wasnt enough to do. Weve been to loads of events but felt this one was a bit lacking sadly.There was lots of waiting around in between things and a distinct lull late afternoon. Guitar Hero or the chance to get special effects make up or something would have been great even for a small fee. Also a bit disappointed with last nights party. Nixter my case is really heavy too! Im dreading any stairs at the small stations Im changing at. I cant lift it at all lol. Thank god for pull along handles
