Su, I've said this in the other thread, but your dress is gorgeous. And I didn't say this in the other thread but I love yours as well, etmuse! I'm sure you'll look plenty glamorous. Although I sympathise, because getting my hair to stay in any kind of "style" is impossible. Still, plenty of time to practise, eh? I went through my wardrobe the other day, and the only dress I have that still fits me is my leopard-print one. Which is gorgeous, but not really 'red carpet' enough. Well, maybe. I mean, have you seen some of the stuff people tried wearing at the Golden Globes?!

We had between four and six inches yesterday, and most of it's still here this morning. I've already been out and played in it, given myself a cold. *grumps*

That sounds more exciting than my day. I have an enormous list of things I need to do today (tidying my room, cleaning out the animals, Christmas shopping, hanging the posters I bought at Collectormania, putting my suitcase back in the attic, start on my assignments, etc etc etc) but right now I'm just sitting here playing The Sims 3. I guess I should peel myself off the chair and do something productive?

I can't believe I haven't commented on this thread! I apparently thought it went without saying. Misha is always the highlight of any event for me, so I totally wouldn't mind having him back!

Now I'm trying to figure out where to introduce myself, here or the formal introductions thread. D: Hey! I'm Sophie. I've been going to conventions since mid-2008 and my current total stands at a perfect ten, but only three of those have been Showmasters events, two of which I've crewed for. I'm trying to cut back in 2010, so Roadhouse will potentially be my thirteenth event. I think I potentially have Hils matched for Misha Collins adoration: I too got a picture with him each day at Collectormania, and somehow ended up in front of his table four times during the course of the weekend. I... may have done all of this whilst wearing a light-up halo. I'm not proud. (Fun, though!) I've already got my ticket (gold) and will shortly commence my search for the perfect party dress, which will inevitably take me right up until the day before the con itself to complete.

After spending most all of last night trying to decide between standard and silver, I ended up giving my friend the go-ahead to buy me a gold pass, with the agreement that I'd pay her back later. I don't know how. A WINNER IS ME!

That's fine. I think you did a better job remembering names for the poll than I would have! I wouldn't have gotten half of the ones you did.

Aarrr, thanks ever so, guys! I'm not a huge fan of drinks receptions, but then again, I'll probably regret not going gold when SM announce somebody really, really awesome. Seems I've got a difficult decision to make, and fast!

I'll probably ask for a ticket for Christmas, but I'm not sure whether to go gold, silver or standard. Help? What are the benefits of getting gold? (I mean, I know what you get, but I guess what I'm asking is why other people are choosing gold for this event. What's the appeal for you?).
