I Know I'm Going to Get Shot Down for This.

At the end of the day nothing at these events is guaranteed autograph wise, its all based on when you get there and what you're willing to spend. If a store was about to close you couldn't tell the person in front of you they couldn't have their entire trolley of shopping, as annoying as that may be, they got there before you and have the right to be served before you. As Lee said it really isn't anyones business how they spend their money - if they want to have up to the limit they have the right to do that. Changing the rules to suit one/some person means it stops suiting others (as does EVERY rule in the entire world, booking limits on concert tickets etc... etc..) -
I think some modern british shows would be cool like My Mad Fat Diary Cast from Orange is the new black, gilmore girls, buffy and Charmed would be great

We're now renaming the event Luke's Film and Comic Con

Crew weren't given enough information. In particular, YALC crew were only able to help with something in their direct line of sight, they didn't know where anything was on the rest of the floor. Crew didn't know where the stairs/lifts were, told people to go to completely the wrong floor for talks/photoshoots and could have done with knowing where everything was on their floor at the very least. Not all of the people working at YALC were SM staff, just to flag, as for knowing where everything was they were certainly told where comics and gaming were (the only things on our floor as I briefed them) There were no photoshoots on our floor. The venue, as you saw, is HUGE, its pretty hard for everyone to know where everything is, and things get moved around/changed on the day. There may be the odd person who forgets where something is but on a whole the entire crew knew what was on their floor at least.

I'd mostly like everyone to see break down hahaha -
A BIG Thank you to the YALC crew
talie replied to Glowingwings's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
The majority of the crew were newbies in YALC especially those on both of those queues, I'm so so glad you had a good time and I will pass on your compliments to the YALC team x -
Most of the YALC attendees aren't regular SM attendees so getting feedback on here is hard, but so so glad you enjoyed YALC and the VQ's worked out for you :)

The decision to put Cassie on VQ was made when it was discovered just how popular she was going to be and we wanted to ensure the majority of people would get to meet her. 400 people went through Cassie's Q and she signed over 1,000 autographs in 2 and a half hours, at no charge, I'm really sorry you didn't have time to join the queue but she even stayed later to accommodate all the extra attendees

Guest Cancellation - Charles Dance
talie replied to Too Tall's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
SM won't release that kind of information I'm afraid. Just in the same way a studio wouldn't release how they pay their actors either, it's private info as much as yours or mine payment details at work are :) -
Nope its only for the first hour of the show, so after 10 you go through the standard entry
-
If the queue is looking like its going to be really big a virtual queue will be put into place, she is also only signing x3 MAX per person so should speed up the queue process. Her manager has also ensured us that she works really hard to make sure every single person in her queue gets to meet her so you should have absolutely no issues meeting Cassie :)

There's 1 or 2 authors with restrictions (but this is VERY limited) the majority will sign any books they've written Do you know which authors that this is, just in case I make a slip up? Judy Blume will sign new copies of her new book IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT along with ONE of her other books. Cassie clare has a max of 3 books per person

It will be a good chance to have a look around YALC and all the publishers sets who will have some great stuff on their stalls! What kind of stuff do they have? :) Lots of promo stuff, little bits and pieces and freebies with badges, wristbands etc! You'll also get a goodie bag being a yalc ticket holder
