I totally want to go back for GMEX 2, but I highly doubt I won't have the money in November. I want to come to the UK once a year to attend events like this and, you know, to be in the UK. But November's too close I believe.

Were you at the Gmex centre at 5am on Saturday morning? if you were hi, I was the person still asleep trying to sort things with security and when things were sorted who let you sit inside in the warmth.. A 926427[/snapback] Haha nope. We didn't get to the lineup until about 8:30am on Saturday :) I'm definitely not that much of an early bird hehe

It was my first and most likely my only Collectormania event since it's quite expensive for me to hop on a plane across the Atlantic :) But I had a VERY enjoyable experience, and if I do get the funds again, I will definitely go to another event.

I just arrived to the UK yesterday :) shoot, only 6 mins left of internet. grr cafe. Heading out to Manchester on Friday! YAY!!!!

DANGIT! I budgeted Ian out of it because he didn't really interest me...but now JORGE'S going to be there?!?!?! AHHHH what am I going to do?!?!? *prays to have enough money for Jorge* Great replacement, guys :)

Well technically, if you read the initial Guest Announcement post, it says "Our Shows". Shows is plural and they don't mention anything about the announcements being for GMEX.

I'll have to dust off my winter coat. Over here, we've had no winter this year. That's a first :)

Tickets arrived today in Canada :) YAAAAAY!!!!!

I've travelled by coach a lot. My coach trips are at the shortest, 5 hours long. I travelled to Boston once by coach and it took 15 hours. I can handle it :) We're not leaving that early. We're coming on Friday and staying in Manchester until Sunday night. I'm a night owl...so DEFINITELY not leaving early :)

I'm hoping to get: Robert Pattinson - 2 Stanislav Ianevski - 1 Matthew Lewis - 1 Andy Serkis - 1 Possibly John Rhys Davies - 1 I had to cut Ian Somerhalder off my list...due to budget constraints.

I'm coming in from London, but I'm not from there. Taking the Megabus in cuz of the "wonderful" exchange rate :) Train's way too expensive for my budget.

^ It is if you're short like me lol I like to watch the talk while I'm there, not hear the talk while staring at the back of someone's head.

Oh well...it looks like I'll have to miss Andy Serkis so I don't have to be in the back for the Robert/Katie talk *insert uncontrollable crying here* Well, at least I'll be able to make it to one talk I'm interested in that weekend. That's why I personally agree with the semi-assigned numbering of the ticket ideas mentioned earlier in this post. Makes it fair for everyone. That way, the room can be cleared then everyone has their assigned areas. And that way people who are interested in seeing the talk right before another one don't get stuck at the back of the line when they weren't able to line up in the first place. Just a suggestion...I know it'll be hard to do considering how many people will be going in for the talks and in terms of the crews being able to check tickets.

I haven't...but I'm just hoping I receive them on February 6th, the latest....since that's when I head over the Atlantic :)

I'm travelling in from Toronto, Canada :) Decided to go to London at the beginning of February instead of the end of February once I found out about this event. So I'll be travelling to Manchester for the weekend. But I think someone said they were coming from Japan. I think they automatically win for being the furthest

^ Also to add to it, many Robert Pattinson fangirls have this feeling that Robert likes her in a romantic way...so they're all jealous and whiny about it lol

I'm the same way....mostly because 175 pounds is a LOT more in Canadian funds and there's no way I can spend more than 300 dollars just on a pass. Meeting the people I want plus sitting farther back in the talks is more along my budget :)
