Load of crap. It's never going to happen. The TV-series has been in the production stage for quite a while now. I spoke to Matthew Wood about it when I worked with him last October. He is very much involved as the chief sound editor (or whatever you wanna call it). But the re-making of the classic trilogy is just a nasty, untrue, rumour.

Anthony Daniels lives in London, in fact, not in the USA. I've recently worked with Anthony. I have no idea where the rumour started that he lives in the USA. He's a Brit, completely!

True enough, all photos have this orange sheen. But I liked the venue apart from that because it was small and very easy to find/reach for me, traveling from Belgium.

Thanks for the kind words, people. As for Carson, I met him at a show in California in 2003. He was there with (if I remember correctly) Margo Apostolos (Ewok) and Carrie Fisher (who? )

None of those live in the UK, so they will not be invited to ED. As a rule, they have to live in the UK. So I do not think there is much chance they'll appear, Martin.

A couple collectors that I met at the previous Empire Day had mentioned in the ED16 forum that they had quite extensive collections. That was the inspiration for me to put my collection back online. I have still quite a few items to scan, but the first 558 items are currently online. Thanks!

I met him once at the Almeida theater (I believe it was August 2000) and waited for hours for him to come out. Since it took so long and I had to get the Eurostar back to Belgium, I rang and a nice lady (janitor?) took my stuff up to his office. Two hours later, they were returned to me by... you are not going to believe this, but it's true - Ben Kinsley! He told me Mr McDiarmid didn't have the time to come out to meet me. But before I actually had to go to get my train, I saw Mr McDiarmid leave the theater. I went up to meet him because I wanted to thank him for signing my photos and action figures. I never got the chance. When he saw that I was holding SW stuff, he turned around and ran away. I mean that litteraly - he began to run! I had never experienced anything like this. In retrospect it was kinda funny, but in the end I would have preferred to get my photo taken with him.

Unfortunately, none of these are ever available in Belgium... Yep, if there is a bright center to the Star Wars Collectors Universe, Belgium is the place farthest from it. Oh, well.

Mike Edmonds was NOT at ED16. Warwick Davis and Peter Burroughs were, but not Mike.

OK, I'll get to work on this right away. Since there were so many ANH people at ED16, I think we'll focus on ESB this time around.

Shall we try to get back on topic then, birthday boys? :-) I vote for first time signers again and perhaps a few better known names? Or... Perhaps Jason and I can work out something completely different for this line up. Jason and I have talked about this and we may persue this idea... A complete line-up of ONE classic movie (i.e. ANH or ESB or ROJ). How would you like that?

Yeah, me too. I would love to get the green light from SM to reinvite such names as Brigitte Kahn, Colin Hunt, Lynne Hazelden, Jenny Creswell, Jack McKenzie etc... I'll get in touch with SM. I'll be there!
