  2. Yay!! Everyone go and meet Craig; he is so great with his fans Laura x
  3. *scuttles off to buy soundtrack* The original superman soundtrack is one of my favourites; I used to play in an orchestra for a few years, and we played the Superman Suite and I had my first orchestral solo; the bassoon in 'March of the Villains' The new music sounds as iconic as the old, in my opinion- and you can't beat the title music! Laura x
  4. Hi Donna, my sister's a big X-Phile and has managed to get some cool stuff; autographed photos/dvds, old magazines/comics, pieceworks and autograph cards- I'd suggest checking out several of the stalls selling similar things before buying as she got a Krychek (might have spellt that wrong!) autograph card for £5 from one stall, when another was selling it for £20 . You can also get random things like X-Files Barbies, and there's normally mugs, coasters, pins, stickers, clocks, statue busts, etc Happy hunting! Laura x
  5. Brandon Routh Miranda Otto Bruce Spence Laura x
  6. Will watch out for you Aspen! Hmm.... what to get for Brandon to sign... *starts scouring ebay* Laura x Got some superman pants from child hood some where Well, that's certainly original!

  8. You coming then Hiya! Miranda Otto and BRANDON ROUTH?! You bet!! If Brandon is definitely coming I REALLY want to get a gold pass, but I have just been given a work experience placement over 50 miles away from Uni so I need to pay for accommodation But I'll work a while more, and all things are possible... Laura x

  10. Sorry I'm a bit confused Now that this has been pinned does this mean it is officially official? HOPE SO!! Laura x
  11. Great photos everyone! Mel's came out much better than mine, so this is the only one that is fit to be posted at the moment! Sorry that it's a bit big, haven't quite got the hang of resizing things without making them go blurry so this was the best I could do! In case it needs an introduction this is me with Elijah!! He was absolutely lovely, a dream came true that day! PS to Aspen! I'm afraid I don't have a myspace at the moment. Thanks for keeping me company in the queues! PPS Chris your Doctor Who pic rocks! Laura x
  12. Hi again guys, nice to meet you at the weekend! Hope you had as great a time as I did The lady you're referring to is indeed called Megan, lovely girl we kept eachother company a few times over the weekend after having whiled away the hour's wait in the queue Saturday morning together lol. She has been on these forums but mentioned that she doesn't go on them much. Laura x
  13. I decided to buy a gold pass for the sole reason that meeting Elijah has been my dream for ages and in my opinion this was my best chance of getting to meet him; so I chose to save up and buy one and for me it was worth every penny and I can go back to being a skint student very much happier lol I was travelling with my sister who had a prepaid early bird ticket, so I got there at the same as she did. Weekend transport being what it is, we didn't want to leave it too late. I got a couple of virtual tickets for her which she might not have been able to get otherwise. To me the goodie bags were an added bonus rather than the main attraction, and I was not dissapointed getting a few nice autographs and a cool print. I really valued having a seat at the front of the talks, not having to join the back of the huge photo queue for Elijah, and things like that; different holders valued different things i'm sure but as long as everyone's happy Laura x
  14. Mine had 5 autographs: Billy Boyd, John Rhys Davies, Kieran Shah, Sala Baker and Jed Brophy, 2 swatches (Storm and Phoenix) a PotC coin a Merry and Pippin lithograph a Star Wars badge a little pack of Stargate SG1 trading cards and a really strange blue bendy plastic thing that looks like the peeled rind of a baby bel with a picture of Jabba the Hutt on it! If anyone has any idea what it could be...? Laura x
  15. I agree that the photos were great I asked regarding the mount and was told that they hadn't arrived, and that if I emailed with my address one would be sent, but I'm thinking maybe they'll have arrived tomorrow? Laura x
  16. I'm with Turkish on this one- Saruman it is! Laura x
  17. Nine days to go until we get to meet Elijah!!!! Still can't quite believe it!! Sooooooooooo excited..... can't believe how much I'm going to be spending Looking forward to meeting some of you guys, if you see an over-excited blond girl with glasses in the Gold Pass queue, poke me and say hi Laura x
  18. Patrick was awesome; he couldn't have been more friendly or enthusiastic. Chatted for ages; about Narnia, the Weta statue he was presented with by Richard Taylor, Hercules- and Cleopatra2525 which I had to admit I hadn't seen! I thought it only came out in New Zealand- must track it down!! When I told him about the novel I'm writing (one of the main characters is a Centaur), he signed my Oreius picture with MY character's name and 'my Centaur brother' !! That really meant a lot to me; I completely wasn't expecting it; and the photo is now sitting in a lovely frame on my writing desk And he was really encouraging about my writing which was so sweet of him. He recognised me when he was wandering round the stalls too and waved to me:D Wonderful guy, bring him back any time Laura x

  20. Hiya all, I was wondering if it might help those of you who are still considering getting a Gold Pass or waiting to see who else is announced, to get a vague idea of how many of the 50 have already been sold so hopefully you don't leave it too late? :) Hence starting this thread :) I have a Gold Pass! 49 to go! Laura x

  23. Highlight of the weekend: meeting Andy Serkis!! The man’s a diamond, he’s absolutely lovely He had been really busy all day (Sat) and I was one of the later tickets; but he was just as genuine, enthusiastic and relaxed with everyone as he had been first thing, and he remembered me from a previous event- yay!! We chatted about my work experience (it was actually relevant, honest!), him seeing the gorillas at Karasoke, and the scene from the Kong mini poster he signed for me (Kong and Ann’s reunion in Manhattan) It was a shame they weren’t allowing posed photos when I went up; but by the end when there was an open queue I was hovering about trying to get a photo; and there was a gap for a few moments in the queue, and he happened to look over at me so I sort of grinned and raised the camera questioningly and he gave me a big smile so hopefully I should have a really nice photo! very happy bunny!
