  1. I completely agree. It really annoys me when people start that conversation. And the whole 5am thing is something i've never agreed with personally. I've been going to these for 8 years now and have NEVER missed out of meeting anyone I wanted to...and I've never turned up more than an hour before opening time. As well as that, last LFCC was my busiest, I was meeting 26 guests, and getting a further 18 photo shoots, as well as a paid for talk, and managed it all without the aid of a gold pass, or getting there are stupid o'clock. If you plan your day well, and things are organised and as planned by the organisers on the day, you can pretty much manage anything, well I have up to now anyways Thats impressive todo that without a gold pass, I agree actually, I got there to see Tennant at around 8am and was fine though I thought Id miss out getting there that late............ He was only there one day too so im sure a similar time should be ok for Anderson, even though im aiming for 7am this time lol
  2. If I can make the show I will and wouldnt want to miss out on a photoshoot with her so booked 2 tickets............ If I cant make it guess im stuck with 2 tickets i wont be able to use but as others have said, xfiles was part of my youth and if I can get there i need 2 tickets before they sell out. Hard decision but ive taken risk.
  3. Anyone see me walking round, had a blue shirt on from Inbetweeners that had the green badge "Hi My Name is Will stop me and say hello" lol Went to meet Edward Furlong and he asked if my name was Will. I said no. He then signed my picture "To Will" realised ripped it up and tried again haha!!
  4. Pricey but if you have the money................... I am torn between these cons now. Used to love autographica where you could at least talk to the guest. Remember talking with Buzz Aldrin when i paid over £100 to meet him and felt good value for money. The recent 2 years though seem to offer a less personalised experience to rush everyone through which for me is a shame. As a customer its just the way i feel. As a busienss I get the reasons why.
  5. No idea why my last post was deleted. I was not being negative, just stating what happened. The fact was Collectormania when Shatner appeared and people were rushed through was disappointing. I hope people get better treatment this time.
  6. I agree with what Jason says about the low numbers being because there were not enough guests attending and the economy. I was always going to come once Stirling Moss was announced but other shows where we had Buzz, Ursula, Blessed and other rarer guests like Harvey Stevens attend had that something extra. I normally do enjoy the autographica shows far more than the other events but this time for me I treated it like Collectormania in the way I turned up, got my autos and left. The dealer tables didnt interest me. Still I have 4 autographs, 3 from striling, 1 from Ursula, and that was worth coming for. People have to understand the current climate is difficult. I booked Keith Floyd for an event and sold out up in Wolverhampton but he fell ill and had to cancel. I can understand the frustration SM go through when people cancel, it didnt effect this event in particular but has with others in the past. The whole game isnt easy and just because people may have been disappointed at the lack of guests doesnt mean the next line-up wont be super! Keep up the good work
  7. I and I know a load of other people were waiting for more guest announcements for this event. I would have attended if there had been another 2 or 3 Lost guests but for 1 guest i wasnt willing to commit the amount of money it would cost me to get there etc......... I understand there were not enough tickets sold but I wouldnt go to Alton Towers if there was only one ride either no matter how good it was. In my opinion this could have worked! Ah well, bring on LFCC instead.
  8. I fou d this experience as uninspiring as meeting Shatner................................rushed through, no chance to say anything and i couldnt even give him my photo. I spoke to the steward who took my photo more than the guest.......... I undertsand the need to get everyone through but the only positive was i now have an auto from him..............thats about it im afraid though.
  9. STAVROS FLATLY PMSL!!!!! YOU'VE GOT TO GET THESE GUYS!!!!!!
  10. Ursula Andress made the drinks party and casino lively and enjoyable. She always pulls in a crowd too. She would be an excellent repeat guest!!
  11. Lost isn't ignored because it has an event, but the event is being ignored ??? Never thought id say this but I totally agree with you, the Toy story was pretty good
  12. At the moment we have 1 movie star surrounded by non movie guests. I think the balance should be more even to create a better event like the one where Brian Blessed and co were there. Awesome.
  13. Great post. I agree with you three are a little too difficult to get probably. Although I have put an event on for early next year and the guest is pretty old. I didnt expect the agent to agree to the performance but if you dont ask. You never know I guess but................ 91 tomorrow, and as I understand it, still suffering from partial speech-impairment from a stroke 11 years ago. 83, and didn't attend the ceremony to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom (one of the two highest civilian awards in the US), a few years ago because of a fear of flying. 87, but at least he's still working ( I gather that he's due to play Baron Hardup in Cinderella, at the Sunderland Empire Theatre this Christmas panto season) she at least seems to be reasonably active, plus the only one of your requests under the age of 75 A similar age to Doris day, and if that's not enough of a problem, did you not see him interviewed by Michael Moore in Bowling for Columbine, filmed about 6 years ago? Did you miss his statement in 2002 that "his doctors had diagnosed him as having a "neurological disorder whose symptoms are consistent with Alzheimer's disease"."? Any reports on his health since have been that, unsurprisingly, he's getting worse, not better. Three of your requests I'd say are utter fantasy. Maybe the warmth of north-eastern panto crowds this Christmas will persuade Mr Rooney to come along.
  14. Firstly, why do you comment on everything......................is your name Jason? Secondly I didnt say he was a minor I said young........................meaning younger as Im 29 and hes 16. His bed time or when he surfs the net is also no issue for you either. Thirdly if I want a lecture it would not be from you. Its no wonder some people have issue with you sometimes.
