  1. Also - speak to the crew member at the end of each queue. What I do (and this is not the SM policy so may not always be the case) is acquire a seat next to the queue and allow attendees unable to walk or stand for very long to sit in it until there friends (or there place in the queue) is only two or three from the front. That way you're still queuing but it's easier. Mention it to the ticketers, they may be able to help.
  2. Aw... thanks you guys! You rock. :)
  3. It's not impossible. I've sat with guests who literally come off a 14 hour shoot on Friday, jump on a plane, come to a con at the weekend, and fly back Monday to start all over again. Never say it's not possible where SM are concerned!
  4. Each ME event (Twilight excepted) has a maximum of 800 tickets sold. Or at least, that's the view taken so far, it could have changed. As for the exact number between 0-800? Only SM would know that.
  5. EEK! Brilliant guest SM. You rock. Jarvis in the flesh. And she's super pretty too.
  6. Yeah but that's because you live in the crazy north!! Can't justify this one sadly. Maybe next year!
  7. You won't be able to buy the tickets until the show opens as the organisers booth won't be ready before you go off into your pits. But your pit boss should hopefully be able to let you run off and get them after the initial rush of first opening. Though you have to be prepared for the fact that they might sell out. Photoshoot schedules will be posted when the guests are known and they've been organised. It's not really anything to do with the particular show. You've just got to wait I'm afraid, I hope that helps! Kip
  8. Received and replied. Bring on July!! Though not too fast. I am going to enjoy my graduation first.
  9. Hey Tracy, it was good to work with you this weekend. :) Kip
  10. Thanks again for all you do - and particularly the advice you gave me Saturday, see you at the next one! Kip
  11. Me? I've got to have some uses right? Thanks TT to you as well, and sorry for being a royal pain in the spam this weekend. I will get over it by LFCC. Honest! If you'll have me again. ;p
  12. The only people who are likely to know that? Are SM and the guys who print the photos. Though for a guest like Linda I'd expect about 10 different shots. But you never know... Kip
  13. You're expecting to sleep? That's not part of the crewing experience!
  14. That's really the first I've heard. Indeed in VQs where you are still several metres from the star on several occasions the person on the photo stand has never asked me what I wanted signed, just said take 3 photos if I was getting 3 autos or what ever. He's right - it's what the crew are told. You may also find the crew say no if they're running low on photos. But generally it's fine to take one. :) EDIT: From the FAQ. How much are the 8x10 pictures that the show provides? The 8x10 pictures that the show provides for signing are FREE. They are primarily for those people who do not have a personal item of their own to get signed; usually, if there are spare, you can get an 8x10 picture free when you buy an autograph, though Showmasters may decline to do so if giving one to someone who doesn't want it signed might mean they will run out, leaving other fans with nothing to get signed.
  15. Headington, on the edge of Oxford. However my parents live in Buckingham (about 12 miles from the stadium) and let me use their car. Win. Kip
  16. I'm tentatively up for that! Not sure what I can eat there and the website won't load for me. I'll call them and check. *g* Kip
  17. Received and Replied. *dances a happy dance*
  18. Bob!! Coolest guest at the show, SM. Fingers crossed for more Blackadder guests. *glee* Kip
  19. Trust me, considering the effort they went to at New Years? Where we were somewhere with no TV, and no internet - we still ended up with the regeneration ep on a projector screen. They are big fans!

See, sometimes I can say things that are useful! :) (Not seen you in the London meets in a while, do we keep clashing with the York ones?) Kip
  21. For those crewing - the safest way to do it? There are a couple of people on the crew who will probably already have a contingency plan in place for this. None of us will have seen it and it'll keep you spoiler free. Just go back with the crew to the hotel and follow them to watch before you meet anyone else. Not that I'll be watching it, but it's what I used to do with Merlin. *g*
  22. If there's a crew party (and at most events there are) then it would be separate to the main party. But no detils will be announced until crew briefing. Kip

On the other hand? Guests announced closer to the event have a lower dropout rate. Just food for thought.
  24. I've no idea why it happened, but it could be with almost 200 crew to organise (for this event alone, remember SM put on 25 odd shows a year now) you just slipped through the cracks. You can e-mail and ask, I don't know how difficult it is to change right now. Sorry not to be more help, Kip
  25. Two amazing Farscape guests? SM you've outdone yourselves!
