  1. The problem is that as much as everyone's points are valid they are human beings and SM have no control over their behaviour. It's a catch 22 situation really. SM can't publicly say anything negative about the guests so what do they do? People ask for them to get them, they can't say 'no because they are awful grumpy people who you will all hate', and there's no guarantee that their behaviour will always be 'bad'. Unfortunately it's the reality of the situation. Heck, it's even mentioned in the FAQ that situations like this do happen so be prepared. I do understand what you mean about if it's a new attendee's 1 experience then it's very negative, but it's not exclusive to Showmasters. It can happen at any event. This is why it's stated that because of situations like this you shouldn't meet your hero's.
  2. Sigh........we really have been abandoned in here. I know they have the launch for Sherlocked USA next week but that shouldn't stop them updating the announced guests in here.
  3. Well, we are looking at coffee options for out office staff. Apparently the coffee shop style coffee machines we have that do cappuccino's, latte's ect that are free for all our staff to use are no longer 'good' enough so we may be changing. One of the options that the management wanted us to look into was in our main cafe's is that they want a Barista to stand in the kitchen to serve coffee's. We only have about 100 people on that floor so it's not going to be a hard job.
  4. I've just read 30 pages. I couldn't stop. Curse you.
  5. We all do unfortunately, I can deal with morons, annoying and rude people who just won't listen and rude sales calls fine, but when you end the call with one, and pick up another, and then another, that's when it gets to me, so many times during the day our calls do have a few expletives uttered after we have put the phone down to let off steam!
  6. It does look a bit cheese like if you were colour blind and were squinting A little bit. But the cheese pieces are always clustered around what is clearly a whole wheel of cheese, which is located on a table marked "HAND MADE cheese", which is located in a shop that sells cheese. I will continue to be baffled and awed by people who walk into a cosmetics store and willy-nilly pick up testers to eat them. I don't want into the fruit and veg area of a supermarket, take a bite out of an apple, and put it back again. o_o I've corrected it for you. I will continue to be baffled and awed by people who walk into a cosmetics store and willy-nilly pick up testers to eat them. I don't want into the fruit and veg area of a supermarket, take a bite out of an apple, and put it back again. o_o No, there really no explanation when Lush is clearly a cosmetics company, it's not like it's pretending to be or even looks like something else. Alternatively it's not like they walk into the dairy section of a supermarket, take a wedge of Edam off the shelf and try to wash themselves with it if they are getting that confused about it all!

No unfortunately not Well why have I come through to you then ???????????????? Can you put me through Errrrrrrrrrrr no Well how do I get hold of YYYYYY then? Their numbers are clearly listed on their website on the contact page so you can't help me? Sorry no Well thanks a lot you've been a load of help! slams phone down ???????????????????????????
  9. Photo's are possible in the auto sessions unless there are signs up forbidding it. They will usually say either 'no posed photos' i.e no pictures of you and the guest but you can take a picture whilst in the queue or 'no photos' and that means none at all. If these signs are up please respect them. There are usually a variety of reasons they may be up but it's usually to save time so that more people can get through the queue if the guest is busy or if the guest is not feeling well and doesn't want flashes going off in their faces all day. Please note that signs can be put up and taken down at any point in the day so just because a guest may be doing pictures in the morning it doesn't mean they will still be doing them later and vice versa.
  10. Talks - photo's ok, but flash is only allowed for the first 5 minutes. Filming is strictly forbidden. As far as I am aware, filming for personal use in the general area's is allowed, but if it's for anything official you might need a press pass. In the auto area's you can take photos as long as the guests do not have signs up forbidding pictures.
  11. Now you have a bath tub, you can/should invest in one of these: Diver Dan. Legend. I DON'T KNOW WHOW IS POSTING THIS? IS IT A GHOST? MR BLANK FACE? Pervert.
  12. This has reminded me that I have a bath now after years of only a shower so I should go buy some and have nice bath times!
  13. That is a prime example of why the phrase 'the customer is always right' is a load of codswallop!
  14. Yet you can come on here? Are there no customers who need serving? I'll keep my mouth shut next time I find something that someone on here might enjoy then. Yes, get back to having to stop people eating the soaps!
  15. So not even the Saw Rebirth comics then? http://sawfilms.wikia.com/wiki/Saw:_Rebirth NO. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE. GIVE ME THIS. I don't think I'm allowed to put links to sales on here but there are a couple of physical copies on ebay, even though it was originally an online comic. I think that's ok. I've put an ebay link up and pretty sure I have before and I've never been told off. I think it's context. You aren't allowed to directly sell on here but I'm sure links like this I the context of the conversation are fine. I know when we were discussing posters for Mads before LFCC, comments and links were put up for items on Amazon and it was fine.
  16. Stay that way! Some of the tie in ones can be pretty crappy and it gets very expensive if you want all the variant covers!
  17. It should be soon Matthew, I'm sure they have a lot to go through and match up from such a big event. Even the smaller events it can take 2/3 weeks for the items to be sent out. Give it a little longer but it would probably be best to email the Pre Order service directly as the moderators here can't comment on the turnaround as they don't deal with the Pre Orders.
  18. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Comics/63/i.html?_from=R40&_sop=16&_nkw=Stargate See, not worth anything!
  19. Stargate. I've got most of the rare ones, a few I've got there were only 100/150 issues of them.
  20. I've bought some pretty expensive very limited ones in the past but they are probably actually worthless in reality as no one would be interested in them now!
  21. Essentially, but a Virtual queue ticket situation will be in operation for the medium to high level guests, so you will need to collect any VQT's you need as soon as you get into the venue. Some of the packages do include certain autographs, you will not need VQT's for those guests, but will do for any that you want that aren't included. If a guest is on the VQT system and you do not have a ticket you will not be allowed in the auto queue unless the guest gets quiet and goes to an open queue. What is Virtual Queuing for Autographs on the day? Virtual queuing is an essential part of ensuring you do not spend your precious time at the event in never ending queues. For the guests in most demand you will simply collect a ticket at the beginning of the day from a crew member in that guests auto area, and this will be your queue number, any time after your number has been called later in the day you may join the queue, this also makes sure that we can both manage numbers and demand on the day.
