  1. No they won’t be. As you can see from the description in your package the 5 autographs are 1 Captain or equivalent, 1 bridge crew or equivalent and then 3 vouchers for £15 which can only be used against any guest charging £15 for an autograph. These cannot be added together (so you cannot use 2 £15 vouchers to get an autograph worth £30 for example). It is possible you will get William Shatner (Captain), Jeri Ryan (Bridge crew) but it could just as easily be any other combination. It is not related to the talks at all. You could also just as like;y get Kate Mulgrew and Michael Dorn for example. Im also confused that you say you have 6 paid talks included in you package. The Commander package includes the opening ceremony (which is free anyway), the 25 years of DS9 talk and 2 other paid talks from The one and only, Seven of nine, Man in the Mirror and You are cordially invited. It is likely this is a misprint on the website though as they seem to have upped the number of talks included in each package from what was previously advertised so you could well be right. Also there are no “package exclusive” talks. Anybody at the convention can attend any talk. You just need to pay for it if it is not included in your package. Your package just means that if you attend any of these other paid talks (not included in your package) you still get priority seating in the Commander area. EDIT: having checked this out you are indeed correct about the number of talks. Apologies if I created confusion. So glad the number has been increased this is great news.
  2. Incredibles 2. That’s 2 hours of my life I’m not getting back. Getting fed up of these Pixar animations but when you have wee grandkids they’re unavoidable
  3. One of the best Hartnell’s. Such a shame it has been lost. I remember the excitement of episode 2 coming back. I have a superb semi-animated recon which adds so much to the story. The visuals were obviously superb. Special mention to the great Jean Marsh making her second appearance in Dr Who in a very short time. The debate as to whether or not she can be called a companion is always going to be had but if you call Caterina a companion then IMO she’s one too. Great performance.
  4. I might be wrong but I don’t think you are allowed to ask for that on this forum as it would involve posting actual addresses or emails in the forum as DM’s are turned off. As Fred says though there is a pre-order service that you can send your own items into.
  5. They won’t announce reasons Lightness, they never do. It could be for a huge number of reasons. They don’t always announce cancellations either. It’s just been cancelled and everyone will be refunded. Sucks but these things happen.
  6. I too like Galaxy 4. It’s just a shame that Steven ends up looking like a total mysogenist scoffing at the idea of a society where the female is the dominant gender but it was the way of the a World back then. I have a soft spot for this one as I was at the first public screening of the “lost” 17 minutes from episode 1 that was screened in 1998 after the fan who owned the film agreed to let the BBC have a copy. Great experience to sit in a lecture theatre with other Who fans and Who guests watching this extended clip’s first airing for over 30 years. Could have heard a pin drop and the applause at the end was tremendous.
  7. Last time the TNG bridge was accessible as it was flat on the floor but if they are the same as last time then the TOS and Klingon bridges won’t be accessible at all. There is maybe a way of putting a chair at the front with the bridge behind it but for one with an actor sitting in the chairs it would be unlikely as you’d be too far away and difficult to get both in focus. Might be worth emailing the extra help people see if they would consider providing ramps for it but since Massive events don’t own the sets it’s not really up to them.
  8. Season 2 is definitely better than season 1 that’s for sure. There are a couple of stinkers but I agree that as a whole the season is a lot more balanced. I think it helps that both the cast and the production team were well and truly settled in and not battling against the BBC machine now that they were a hit show. All change next season though with the departure of Verity.
  9. I am not a fan of ranking doctors. Me it’s more story to story. The doctor is the doctor no matter who is playing him (or her, not sure what gender terms to use now)
  10. But you tolerate us weirdos on here though
  11. The joint Terry Farrell and Nicole DeBoer shoot that was available but mysteriously disappeared still hasn’t returned. Any news on this?
  12. I had heard she was coming as someobody posted somewhere on this forum that she had confirmed it to him on Twitter (sorry can’t remember who it was). Hope she does a talk. I’ll bet she has a lot of great tales to tell
  13. Here are my partners (signed) Dr Who related Pops. There are actually more but these are the signed ones. @The Friendly Dalek If you look you can see her custom 5th-8th Doctors at the bottom. Even though there is now a first doctor pop that was released after the last Xmas special the one seen here is actually a customer made before it was known that there would be an official one. There’s also a custom Leela at the top that the pop still has to be made for (same with the 8th doctor pop). Sometimes there just isn’t time to get it made before meeting somebody so getting the box first is always a good idea in those cases. You can also see one wall of the “funko pop wallpaper” behind them. That entire wall is floor to ceiling pops hence the wallpaper.
  14. Ive only got one. #seewhatididthere I’ll get me coat.
  15. Yeah sorry I’ve not been in here as much. Reading back through them you’re pretty much summing up what I think for most of the stories apart from I’d have given the Space Museum about a 1 or a 2 it’s just appalling. Even a very young Jeremy Bulloch doesn’t even raise an eyebrow, pun intended. What was that all about? I also thought you were a bit too heavy on the praise for the Crusades. 10 is a bit much. The supporting cast is superb. I had a very long chat with Julien Glover over dinner one night (get me, name dropping) and he loved doing that story more than he did City of Death. That being said the “foreigners” are far too cliche and unrealistic. It is a good story but no more than an 8 IMO.
  16. They will be customs. I am a funko expert now because my partner is OBSESSED. Our bedroom doesn’t have wallpaper it has funko pops. Around 600 of them and growing. Seriously I’ll need to post the pics. What she does when we go to a con if the actor she wants doesn’t have an official pop she gets one custom made. I’ll post you some pics of the classic Doctors she has and the link to the site of th guy that makes them. You’ll be able to order them from him.
  17. I have no idea what you are talking about, or who you guys are, or who I am.
  18. It isn’t listed but this happens with Eventbrite sometimes. My partner bought one a while ago and has had no notification of a refund and they did a joint shoot at the last DST so I’ll be astonished if it has been cancelled. E-mail the shop and ask them.
  19. The official reply to my partner’s email was “your carer may go everywhere you are entitled to go at all times” so that’s definitely put her mind at ease
  20. My friends LFCC pre-orders arrived 3 weeks after the event so its a bit early to expect anything back yet. Added to the fact as explained above that they’ve been busy with 2 back to back shows. They have a slight gap now until the next one so I’d expect Jason to get them out soon.
  21. They are probably just getting back today as the Sheffield event took place over the weekend and everyone will have been away for that. My refund was processed within 2 days of me emailing and that was during the week after LFCC when they were very busy so it is possible your email has been overlooked. I would try phoning again later today. If the office is less hectic you may get a reply.
  22. Where to begin? The Silents take 2? The total under use of them? The self indulgence of the writing at this point? I am a HUGE Moffat fan but this was the first time I thought, know what Steven maybe it's time to move on. Too many "seen it already" ideas in these stories that made them a bit meh for me. Also (unlike my partner) I suck at watching TV shows and working out what is going to happen ahead of the revelations. Probably why I enjoy so much TV. These stories were predictable to me (again related to the Moffat "staleness") so not as much fun to watch.
  23. I'll throw my tuppenceworth in here too if I may. I'ts a bit of a grenade I'm afraid. I absolutely hate the monk trilogy AHem. Sorry about that. now what was everyone talking about?
  24. Interesting use of "caved" when what you actually mean is "was always going to"
  25. Excellent news. So glad it's happening!
