  1. Glad to hear Adrienne is on the mend. And agreed ... she was a great guest, the most personable I've met at an LFCC. I think it was partly helped by the fact she's not immediately recognisable by the general public (she had to quit acting after Friday the 13th after some serious incidents with a stalker, so I've read) ... she was able to interact a bit more easily. We had a nice long chat out on the show floor, no probs; not the sort of thing Pamela Anderson could get away with! Here's hoping Adrienne comes back.
  2. ... would also be nice if they got some bigger name comic artists and writers in. Apart from Stan Lee they don't really seem to focus on this area much. Would love to see Joe Madureira attend.
  3. Yeah, good luck with that!! We all have our guilty pleasures though ... *cough* Sleepaway Camp *cough cough*
  4. Cheers ... now I feel real old Halloween 40 year reunion would be amazing. There's some dubious offerings on your list though ... Nightmare On Elm Street 4? ... don't think anyone will be breaking out the champers for that one.
  5. Arnold Schwarzenegger was my idol growing up so meeting him would be awesome. Having already met Neve Campbell and Adrienne King, a photo op with Jamie Lee Curtis would complete my 'scream queens' trio nicely. Some of the big Walking Dead names would be good, Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln, Jeffery Dean Morgan ... And as a huge X-Men and LOTR fan, Sir Ian McKellen would be superb. Chuck Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman in as well while we're at it.
  6. Enjoying a chat with Robbi Morgan about her experience shooting Friday the 13th when Adrienne King popped her head over my shoulder and said "Less chatter more signing Robbi". Turned around to say hi and Adrienne remembered me from the photo op I had with her about hour before. Got to have a nice chat with her by Robbi's table and even got a hug!! Always great when you discover your film idols are just ordinary down-to-earth good people.
  7. Only thing I had booked was a photo op with Adrienne King (huge Friday the 13th fan!). As there were only 15 or so of us in the queue she made extra effort to take her time and each of us got to have a little chat with her. She complimented my t-shirt as I was the only one with a Friday the 13th one on (she had an awesome Camp Crystal Lake t-shirt on herself). Forgot that you could do walk-up autographs on the day and I spotted Robbi Morgan (also Friday the 13th) little later on. She was an absolute darling and was happy to have a long natter and even came out from behind her table for a photo which was nice. At that moment Adrienne King came over to say hi to her and recognised me; I got to stand and have another chat with her about the film and her stay in London ... and even got a hug!! Both ladies were super nice and very personable. I read that Adrienne was unwell later in the weekend so I hope she's on the mend and isn't put off coming back again.
  8. Fair play ... I guess as a viable alternative folks can scan their original so the option is always there. I found the JPEGs I got in 2015 really good quality though so will probably go for that option again.
  9. Thanks for the reply ... I'll keep my eye on the forums. Bit moody we have to pay twice, but hey-ho ...
  10. Hi all ... for my last LFCC in 2015 we also got digital copies of our photos, I believe through this forum, though I may be wrong. Does anyone know if we still get digital copies of our photos and if so how we get hold of them? Thanks in advance!
  11. Thinking about volunteering myself ... was it an easy process? How do they decide where you get allocated? Do they take in to account experience and age as to where people get put or is it all a bit random?
  12. Did Friday this year for the first time ... so much better than Saturdays, nowhere near as busy or frantic. Will be doing Fridays in future. Layout was so much better, loads of space, loads more stalls, more logic to where things were. Well done Showmasters. Highlight was photo with Adrienne King (Friday the 13th). Only 15 of us for the shoot so Adrienne made sure she spent a bit of time chatting with each person. Longest I've had with a guest at a shoot ... she was asking our names and where we were from. After that I grabbed an autograph with Robbi Morgan (Friday the 13th as well) and she was a delight, happy to chat and came out from her table for a hug and photo. Then Adrienne wandered over to say hi to her, and spotted me to ... and I got a hug!! Was stoked she actually remembered my name and we stood chatting for a few minutes. Best two guests I've met at LFCC by far.
  13. Was really disappointing ... nothing like the TV show set.
  14. Fab day!! New layout is great, loads more room than last time I was there. Got there at 10 and walked straight in. Wouldnt say it was busy but good atmosphere. Would definitely do Friday again over a Saturday. Did photo shoot with Adrienne King and she was lovely, actually had a chat with everyone. Bumped in to her 20mins later at Robbi Morgans autograph table and she stopped to have another chat and say hi. Great guest ... great day.
