  1. Would be interested to know too before I purchase photo tickets, it's already looking to be an expensive convention for me with all these excellent guests.
  2. Hopefully there will still be photo tickets left for him by the time I get some cash, will SM let us know when if the bookings are getting full?
  3. Squeee can't wait, has to be a captain or actor from the new Star Trek films right?
  4. I parked in the railway station on my first visit, walk isn't too far if you don't get lost like I did, I pay the little extra to park in the NEC now though as they have disabled parking right near the main entrance which is better if it's cold or wet.
  5. I had a standard ticket last time and everyone was extremely helpful, no queue problems, they even put me in the photo section ready before Mr Shatner arrived so I was first to get a photo, I even got extra time with him while they were setting up the camera :)
  6. You could say you're going as a more realistic depiction of Stephen Hawking in Descent part 1...? Oh there's an idea
  7. I probably won't go overboard, I'll wear my science top from the new films and maybe decorate my wheelchair with lots of LEDs and EL wire, would like to do something with my ventilator tubing and mask but as technically the NHS own that stuff it's probably best I don't, probably looks sci-fi enough without much done and can always pretend it's my breathing apparatus for exploring strange new worlds...
  8. On my photo list if he's not too expensive, missed out at LFCC although I did see him walking to the autograph section and got a wave from him, probably because I was dressed as Galavant
  9. I met him at the last DST and had a photo with him, really nice man and not like the stories I heard when younger, you can feel his presence though like other great actors he exudes charisma and power, I want another photo with him but it really depends on prices of him and others, and as I've had one I shouldn't be too greedy.
  10. Would be nice as I actually may be able to attend all three days this time
  11. Had a big crush on her in TNG, hopefully I will get a photo with her and not act like a blubbering teenager
  12. Anyone from Star Trek Continues Can't think of anyone else you haven't mentioned above, Scott and Jolene are top of my list.
  13. Great to hear it's at the NEC, it's a nightmare getting to Excel for me, usually three hours in the car, would go on the train but in a wheelchair that's no fun and I'd probably end up stuck in the corridor between carriages again, I've not tried the tube yet but that looks very complicated to find a station that allows a ramp or has a lift, I did download the pdf of accessible stops and got a headache.
  14. I wonder if they could invite any cast from Star Trek Continues, I'm not sure if it would be seen as endorsement though which the studios may not like, would be great though.
  15. I thought the last DST was really well organised, Showmasters staff excelled and were better trained than for the big LFCC events, I found everything went smoothly and really enjoyed the free talks and the fact the talks were open and not in a confined space, it meant I could just pop my wheelchair at the back for 10 minutes and then listen, rush to a photoshoot then return without disturbing anyone or feeling awkward. The whole thing felt really relaxed too, lovely atmosphere and Nichelle Nichols was lovely, spotted her being wheeled to her charity section and she stopped and stood up next to me for a photo, keep up the great work. P.S. The NEC would be great, easy disabled parking right by the entrance and really good access to everywhere inside.
  16. Can we start guest requests yet? I'd love some from Enterprise, Scott Bakula and of course Jolene Blalock <3 <3 <3
  17. ditto! still owe you that power chair drag race! Yes you do and ExCel has a nice long straight corridor :)
  18. Hoping it's UK, Excel isn't the easiest to get to but a nice venue for wheelchair accessibility, I can selfishly hope it will be NEC Birmingham as that's only an hour away and also very wheelchair friendly
  19. Yes, you can go any time after your group has been called. It's still the same rules as previously, that hasn't changed with the introduction of the e-tickets. You'd be in the group "e-tickets without batch", so if your transport makes it on time you'd be among the first. Excellent thank you, saves stress knowing I won't miss out if I'm late again, have to rely on an assistant getting me there on time and really don't want to go mad at the poor girl
  20. Hi TooTall I have an e-ticket for RDA, I don't see a batch number on it, knowing how unlucky with transport I've been in the past will I be able to go to shoot 2 at 6pm on Friday? I'm in a wheelchair so have your special email already.
