  2. Good Call WaterBoy! If you want somewhere cheap to eat n drink in the day/evening, then one of the best pubs in Wembley is JJ Moons - A Wetherspoons pub on the left on the High Road as you walk to Wembley Central tube station. And if you get drunk enough to want no more beer(horrors!) - you can buy each other rounds of choloate fudge-cake!! (you'd never guess I used to spend most nights of the week there would ya?) Seriously tho - go eat first thing. And that applies to anyone not crewing too - as the exhibition hall isn't cheap for grub and as the excitement of the day keeps you occupied, you need to keep nourished (mmmmm, beeeeeeer! - I MEAN food!)
  3. That's my girl, Marianne. She was a Pit Boss during the day, and Trinity at night. I was told someone had been posting here, and wanted to thank her about something? Send an email to the crew address - crew@showmastersonline.com , and I'll pass it on. Stef
  4. Foo Fighters - ONE BY ONE - "Low" (while I write out your Crew Book envelopes and stick stamps on em)
  5. Aghhhh - Boll*cks. He was a Top Bloke.
  6. THIRTY?? Good God I thought you were gonna say 37!!!!! Awwww! Bless her.... you don't look a day over 27 my dear! An wot an excuse for a party!!! Let me see, LFACC2 over and will have moved into new house, also two weeks before the 'boarding season starts...... hmmm you might just have me along to help you drink too!!! And Marianne of course once I tell her! So long as it's NOT Bacardi & Coke and Breezers - SCREAMING GIRLS drinks!!!!!! We'll get you some Woo-Woo's, Screwdriver and Hairballs - proper LADIES drinks + potent!!!!! Look forward to it! Stef & Marianne by proxy!
  7. So this is what you lot do on here Vamps! Hmmm, I hear voices..... with a kinda musical lilt........ Bloody hell - it's my Cthulhu statue! (think it's time for bed)
  8. Usually the same place as the spirit gum. I just noticed that Hightower talk about using liquid latex to secure prosthetics, with that you just need to peel the stuff off afterwards - no special cleaning.
  9. FYI - Hightower do VERY good quality kit. I've had their ears, chins, nose, finger prosthetics, and all are good. secure nicely with spriti gum and Bob's yer mothers brother! Couple bits of info for ya to do with ALL latex products tho - If your using spitit gum - make sure you get some spirit gum remover, else you'll be ripping your prosthetic and possibly skin when the time comes to remove them. Clean the spirit gum or makeup from your prosthetic after use thororoughly, else the latex will perish. after cleaning/use, best thing to do is to use a little talcum powder to protect the latex (and keep out of prolonged sunlight). All the above applies to rubber/latex cloting and Latex weapons/props too. So there you go, bits of crap info from an aging LRPer. Stef
  10. The Heiro print - I haven't seen it for years anywhere (think used to be able to get it from giger.com) but you can possibly get a scan from one of the following - Morpheous International book - 'HR Giger RETROSPECTIVE 1964-1984' TITAN books - 'Gigers Alien' Also, if you haven't got it - TASCHEN book - 'www HR Giger com' is a FANTASTIC wealth of info and images, and relatively cheap too as its a Taschen book. And there's nothing else you can say apart from AWESOME when you check out the Morpheous International Books - 'Necronomicon' 'NecronomiconII' and 'Biomechanics' - A3 size hardbacks, cost me about £50 each, ten years ago so dunno how much they are now. but worth every penny! Just for info - Giger did preliminary work on the film Dune in 75/76 but his work wasn't used. (His friend Salvador Dali was said to agree to appear in the film if he was paid £100,000 an hour!) Stef

    New Mod?

OKay, Here's the OLDe one come to pass on a bit of sensai wisdom.... A long time ago, in a country not too far away, two men sat down and created a masterfull comic book, violent, dark, with a hint of humour. TMNT was created by Kev Eastman & Peter Laird over 20 YEARS AGO !! Any comic fans out there who love black and white pencil drawings should go and pick these up cheap in comic shops NOW! The artwork was good, and sometimes superb - I think issue 31 had some beautiful work in it. So all you youngers that weren't even a glint in your pappy's eye go seek em out. For a glimpse of the books go here .... http://www.ninjaturtles.com/comics/mirage/mirage.htm Stef
  21. allo cripes - it IS morning already!!!! Just thought I'd catch up n see what you reprebates got up too over the weekend. Sound like a load of fun!!! I spent it hitting people with rubber swords, drinking lots of pimms n Gin and generally getting wasted until after 4am anyways - MK amusement arcade...... Alton Towers...... Disneyland next???????? Laters, Stef
  22. Stingy Beggers! Those poor Gorillas are gonna run out of bannanas in the next week - what do I tell them now? AND I sweated my spam off for 6 SIX HOURS!!!!!! We managed to do over a hundred miles between sixty Gorillas - there were Gorillas in their Pants, Gorillas in Tutu's, Gorillas in hawaiin skirts, a Gorilla in a Monks Robe and of course...... a Nun Gorilla OOOOK-OOOOOking and Ollie-ing down the slope. THEN us (not the other 58 who changed) had to go round the shopping centre(same as MK) still dressed up scaring the sh*t out of kids, and cheeky twots and getting Stooopid grown ups saying "are they real" " I'm gonna go poke one to find out" Went into Lloyds bar for food n drink, and made a small girl happy by making a 'guff' noise, and wafting my hand round me spam when she pulled my finger. ALSO went rock climbing in the Gorilla Suits AND went on an ariel assault course 100 feet above the shooppers just cos they said their were bannanas at the end of it (btw-NEVER trust a chick who tells you to let go of your safety harness and jump onto a swinging platform for the craic (unless your a muppet called Stef) NO KIDS for me!) and NO, there were NO bannanas!! The nice people from the real world spondored me for about £150, so hopefully that will rise to £300 when my company DOUBLES what I raise. Am gonna leave the website up for another week before totalling stuff up if your still feeling guilty or can steal your parents credit card. Stef
  23. Hey All, Just thought I'd drop a link in here to see if anyone fancied doing a bit of last-minute sponsoring......... Marianne n I are doin a sponsored Snowboarding day in Leeds (well, she's ski-ing) in aid of the Dian Fossey Gorrilla Fund, called Gorrillas on the Piste. The aim of the day is to do a 100 miles of piste and raise money for banannas for those cuddley Gorrillas (or something like that) All I know, is that I've just realised that I'm gonna be wearing a bloody huge hairy suit for hours while bombing down a slope. So sponsor me for my pain!!!! (in fact they'll probably be a nun's outfit on top of that!) find out more about it thru here - www.dianfossey.org to sponsor me go here - http://www.justgiving.com/HairyBoarder to sponsor Marianne go here - http://www.justgiving.com/marianneblackham Cheers All. Stef
