I only want to say one more point to Tommy t as I know people don't want this forum turning into a slanging. The reason for the insult is your Sarcasm and criticism of your so called fellow brits. So if your going to be rude expect it back.

At the end of the day other countries have established conventions why can't the UK? Theres the demand for it in the UK that was proven. Others have said and I agree it may be punishment for criticising the organisation and awful parties at Dstl.

Yes well it's called free speech and for the record the UK event had massive sales so at the very least our annoyance is because of our passion for a regular event in the UK.

I have travelled a lot Tommy as has Howie. We are not criticising others we are expressing our dissatisfaction when some of us spent a lot of money last time and would like to see an established UK trek convention. I know travel broadens the mind but in your case we'll never know.

I'm sorry I believe people have a right to air their dissatisfaction. Dstl was good but a lot of crew (especially if a voyager fan) either couldnt attend or weren't invited so there are a lot of main trek cast people didn't get to meet and now may not.

I find him quite moody. He was wonderful when I had my photo taken with him at dstl. But when I went to have my auto this time, no line behind btw, he barely looked up from the table. So a bit mixed from me.

No worries at all. It may be he is deciding if he thinks he is up to it. Doubt know if he lives nearer to London than Cardiff.

I met you on Sunday and thought your collection was great. Loved the Harrison chair and the gun from the film was so cool to see.

Danny Glover. So genuine and friendly. A true star and remembered me at my photo. Made my day. Sylvester McCoy. Lovely man and my favourite doctor. Such a genuine person and to come with a leg in cast. Amazing. Katy manning. So personable and gave everyone a peck on the cheek when they finished. Finally Alex siddig. So warm and friendly and had a permanent smile.

Fyi he was at lfcc yesterday and had a broken leg or ankle so might only feel up to doing the one convention. Was really hard for him to get about.

One of my favourite guests ever. Chatted with me about the nfl for a few minutes. Ans then when I had my photo with him was genuinely pleased to see and remembered the team I supported again. Great guest. Can't understand why more didn't take advantage of meeting a Hollywood star.

What a fantastic story. Good line-up, just not quite what I was looking for, so didn't go. But hearing about guests like John makes me want to meet him in the future.

Shame about that. I was almost going to go yesterday, but didn't after Robert and Sylvester cancelled. Can understand they want to give lots of people a chance to meet her, but when paying 30 a pop, think you should have a choice.

Did they not ask about this when booking him? It's not like it's a new film. Everyone knew he would be in it. It's why I won't book in advance anymore. Shame.
