  1. I don't think he is booked for any other shows in the UK that weekend, which makes it a more expensive booking, but the tag team photo op/autograph possibilities, would surely attract custom from the fans? I guess the only other factor is if he was free and willing? I'd be in line for him, for sure...
  2. Because he is wrestling in a town two hours away that night, and perhaps logistics mean it simply isn't possible?
  3. Only if Scotty has the chainmail headgear, and Rick the amateur wrestler headgear...
  4. Kimberly has been approached by people who wanted to add her to American conventions in the recent past. She wants nothing to do with these events at the present moment in time, somewhat of a U-turn from a few years ago, when she was on the circuit. I think she has started to carve out an unrelated career, and I am glad I got the chance when I did.
  5. Well I don't remember that - best Diva match ever was Trish vs Mickie at Wrestlemania 22. Brilliant storyline and a brilliant peak to their feud. On topic, I have met both Lita and Victoria many times before, so hope someone else can also be added from the world of wrestling that I still haven't met.
  6. Is there a storyline/historical reason for them to appear together? Pervert!!!!
  7. After the less than satisfactory way in which the last booking turned out for me personally (refusal to sign shirts), combined with his performance at the dinner event (the video was horrific), I think it is unwise for him to be doing anything for the forseeable future. I also note in the media reports over the weekend that his "team" say that they have cancelled 15 "public speaking events" he was booked for. Can we have some transparency on if the CM show is one of them???
  8. Chris Eubank Sr and Steve Collins would be two amazing adds, if they are in any way possible!!!
  9. And let's hope for some info (as soon as is practically possible) on what will be done for those who were keen/eager and bought photoshoot tickets for Mr Mayhew :) Will it be a refund at this stage, given tickets don't seem to have been posted, or will some other arrangement be made?
  10. Plan always subject to change: Coleman: Photo-op Mayhew: Cancelled Lita: Photo-op, and autographs on 8x10 promo and autobiography Gascoigne: Autograph on 1990 World Cup replica shirt
  11. If we were one of the unlucky ones to pre-order a Mayhew photo-op, how are refunds etc handled?
  12. Having been at a show he did last year, he didn't look the steadiest of fellows, so I wouldn't be shocked if he was sitting, and it would certainly be understandable.
  13. I, rather annoyingly, only ever got a picture with her WITHOUT her legendary hair extensions while she was with WWE. Time for an upgrade methinks!
  14. Many thanks for the swift and professional response. Can't say I am over the moon about a £50 auto, but it is a case of supply and demand I guess, and everyone knows there are people like me who are desperate to get him to sign a shirt. Might harm my expenditure on other stars, but that is the way the cookie crumbles. See you there
  15. I am happy to be patient with the 2012 gold medal winners for Team GB, as most of them are in the prime of their respective careers, and won't be available mid-season. Having said that, I hope the moment they start retiring etc, that every effort is made to sign them up to appear at such shows, as that would make me a happy Bobby!
  16. This is absolutely crucial, as I was one of the many customers left extremely fed-up at what happened last time. We need a clear indication one way or another from the agent/whoever this time...IN ADVANCE. I have other business that I need to attend to in Swindon on the Saturday evening, and I am happy to come along to MK if I have a reasonable indication that he will sign. For absolute clarity, I have a replica 1990 England shirt with Gazza's number 19 on the back. Look forward to clarifcation if possible
  17. Two words for any future show... CHRIS EUBANK! At various shows over the last few years, we've seen the likes of Benn, Watson, Calzaghe, Froch, and the only one from their weight category to have not done anything is Eubank. If he was willing, get him to bring Chris Jr along too!
  18. Saturday seemed VERY quiet. Turned up at 8.30am and the pre-booked entrance looked dead. There were hardly any stalls inside (no big problem as I only go to meet the stars), and the lack of fans meant it was easy to get around. Thought the on-site immediate printing went amazingly well, shocking the cynic that I am. The blue shirt staff at the photo zones were brilliant sorting out my clashes, and the red shirts were great too. The only sour taste is from the Red Dwarf refunds at the tables where you purchase ops on the day. Stood in line for 20 minutes, got to front to be told "oh, you need to be in the next line along for refunds, just go to the back, it won't take long". Problem was that line was longer than the one we had just been in - and we needed too be at photoshoots etc. There was no signage to suggest this. Poor form - please sort it for next time, should such a situation arise!!!
  19. Luke Campbell - seems a really down-to-earth guy, and even laughed at my joke about using my gold pen instead of "that silver rubbish" on my poster. James DeGale - he started his photoshoot by letting 5 or 6 people hold the EBU belt while he held his 2008 gold medal. I asked if we could swap items and he was cool about it. Not sure I would be happy to hand over my medal to a random fan
  20. I thought the boxers (and those that brought them to the show, and crewed their areas) were the stars of the show. Yes, there was a bit of messing around with Tyson's times, but they made it as clear as they could about what was going on. I also noticed the lack of a PA system, but it wasn't that hard to find out what was happening.
  21. Seriously? Pretty much 95 to 99 per cent of stuff signed by people that appear at conventions is absolutely worthless. For me, it is the sentimental personal value. When I go, it can all go in a bin, unless surviving relatives want to keep it, sell it or whatever. Most of my stuff is personalised, because it adds to the "achievement" value. I actually got a celeb to scribble MY name on a piece of paper, merchandise or whatever. But there are instances, where I sit back, reflect, and think "why the hell do I do this?", but then I remember the buzz I get, and the satisfaction I obtain from browsing over my items.
  22. Apologies if I missed this elsewhere, but is there a deadline to buy photo tickets online? Thanks in advance!
  23. I personally think this is the biggest no-brainer of all time, if they were willing to do such a show! Everyone would have to fight me for the front of the queue for the photoshoot!!!!!
  24. This! I know the guys running the show are busy, but the lack of answers to some fairly valid questions is most frustrating at times - even if it is just to say that something is "TBA" or "TBC" would be much better than a wall of silence...
  25. Great addition for a boxing fan like me! Will Mr Watson have a photoshoot?
