Oh yeah, that's fine. I wasn't meaning to dig at all, SM crew are always fabulous. I just get annoyed when people think it's ok to push in when you're trying to queue lol.

What's the point in having any kind of system in place if this is going on? First of all people should respect the rules, second, crew should be enforcing the rules, with some common sense approaches when it's quiet as has been explained elsewhere. If you keep letting people into the queue who shouldn't be there yet, then it looks busier than it is and the VT numbers won't be incremented properly and people who are waiting for their number to come up will end up waiting even longer as people who shouldn't be there are skewing the system. i know I may come across as petty or beaureacratic but the system is in place for a reason and abusing it like this will just cause problems for everyone down the line. Rockstar I completely agree. This is the sort of behaviour that makes everyone's experiences terrible, and it's rude people that ruin the event for everyone else. Sorry, but I'm being honest.

Can i just say that I lost a posession of mine, and although I never found it I'm grateful for the staff who tried. Everyone's been complaining about everything, but STOP. Showmasters could have cancelled the event because of the building works and everything but didn't. Showmasters could have got very few guests but didn't. I am so happy I went and all of the staff were brilliant; thank you so much! Everyone was lovely, we left early Saturday because it was so busy but that can't be helped. I had a lovely time and thank you to all the new people I met and for coping with me! And to everyone who's jumping on the lets-compare-showmasters-to-another-event bandwagon, Showmasters are changing, but gradually. They tried and for me that was the main thing. The guests, the staff, the stalls; it is the most fun I've had at a con in a very long time.

I'm so glad I went Friday because today was manic for parking (ended up parking in Asda) BUT THIS ISN'T SHOWMASTER'S FAULT. Luckily we didn't have to do a lot other than go to a talk and meet two of the smaller guests but it was manic inside too. So many people, not enough room. I walked past Karen Gillian who looked panicked by it all, bless her. Also, what went wrong with the Hunger Games talk? Meant to start at 10:40, started at 11:00 and went on for twenty minutes. Ah well, I don't really mind because it was fabulous. Dayo and Amandla were real lovely people c:

On the flyer it said the first guests are Electra and Elise Ellevan

I met Amandla Stenberg and Dayo Okeniyi, and both were so incredibly lovely. Both posed for photos and if you meet them look at their pictures of their defaced faces! Really great guests, please bring them back in the future c;

you are always so positive David, it's made me a little more optimistic that I'll see the guests who have cancelled again!

I am disappointed, but this is out of Showmaster's hands. I was gonna buy my ticket for The Games, then that got cancelled. Yeah, that was bad enough then two out of the four guests for that fandom cancel. I am annoyed, but it's something we can't stop.

she will most likely do photoshoots since Dayo is too, and she'll probably be added to the talks as well. no idea what days she's doing, we've been asking for a while and have heard nothing. Assuming that it'll be all three days because it doesn't say otherwise

okay, so a replacement guest would be nice but it's too short notice. more hunger games guests for LFCC?
