Any chance of getting Stirling Moss back, he is always a pleasure to talk to?
-
Hideo Kojima is appearing at a gaming convention because of the anniversary. Would be nice if we got him here, so I could get him to sign my Metal Gear NES game.

My suggestions are: Kevin Conroy - Voice of Batman Futurama cast - Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal Red Dwarf cast - Especially with the new series out around that time.

Plastic Wallets sold by dealers
beepbop replied to Coles84's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2012
Any folder should be fine as long as it's one with four metal holder rings to give it a bit more support. I usually store mine in a plastic wallet with some acid free card behind the photo to stop it bending when storing. -
Plastic Wallets sold by dealers

Are you talking about Mylar wallets? They are usually used for museums who want to preserve documents, you can usually pick a pack up of 20 for about £10. -
Personalisations - Yes, No, Maybe!
beepbop replied to darryl's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2012
I think my opinion will be in the minority but I never get personalisations, not because I don't want my poster to be personal. It's just that I believe when I frame them, they look better without my name scribbled 25 times on it. Still it would be nice for people who do want them personalised, if they said yes to everyone who wanted one or no if they know it will be very time consuming with the number of signings they have to do. Then you don't have the "They got it personalised but I didn't" argument. I know they concept of charging for a personalisation in advance has been thrown around. I think it might be best to have a free personalisation ticket when you're buying your autograph tickets, then they know the number of personalisation that they need to do and a time limit in which to do it. Still it's a hard thing to workout a better system than the one is in place and how to do it. Heh. -
Will there be Dredd posters for him to sign at the event, or is it best bringing our own?

I think the newer guests will be up over the weekend. The person who does the pre-orders is pretty on the ball. I'm just waiting for the newer guests to be put up then I'll stick an order in.

What is everyone getting signed?
beepbop replied to Coles84's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2012
Ke Huy Quan - Goonies Poster already signed by Sean Astin Jeremy Bulloch - Multi signed 8 x 10 already signed by John Morton and Jason Wingreen John Simm - 8 x 10 possibly start a cast photo or a photo with room for Philip Glenister If funds allow it: Gillian Anderson on a poster I would of sent my Star Wars poster signed by 18 people but I'm only going for credited cast & crew, but I already have Baker, Prowse and Bulloch on it. -

Latest Guest Announcement: JOHN SIMM

Very nice, I thought he would never do a show. Any chance of Philip Glenister -
Thanks Joyce, received mine today with the colours and placements where I asked for. Can't get a better service than that, will definitely use your service again. :)

I use these also after seeing David Prowse use them on his photos. I can get you an image of some sigs on a poster I have if you wish?

Not just fans, but male fans. Some get defensive when you say the show is for girls under 10. I just find it creepy and weird.

Latest guest announcement - VIC ARMSTRONG
beepbop replied to showmasters's topic in Collectormania 18
Yeah, I hope Showmasters can get him again for LFCC. He is a great guest, just to bad I won't be able to see him. -
Just received an e-mail from Vic Armstrong....

Totally agree with this, he has pretty much been Harrison Ford's stunt double for his whole career. He has done stunts or been a stunt coordinator for more than 100 films. -
Great stuff, thanks for the update.

Any chance of adding the Futurama guests? As soon as they are up I'll put my pre-order in. :)

Which of the Star Wars films has Ron Punter worked on? I've done a search but couldn't really find an answer. -

Any chance of having a send in service for the sponsored guests please? I have bought an absentee ticket, but would like to add Jason Morton to my Boba Fett image. I know you have http://www.showmasterssales.com/ set up, but it doesn't have any that you can pre-order yet.
