I'm travelling over from Belfast by plane on Friday afternoon, booked a hotel for Friday and Saturday night, attending the LFCC Friday, Saturday and Sunday, have ear marked approx £300 (at the moment, this will probably increase) to purchase autographs and photo's, flying back to Belfast on Sunday evening. For the price of this weekend i could probably get a week in the sun, BUT - to meet so many guests, get my pictures taken (professionally or otherwise), get their autographs, meet fellow like minded fans like myself, and not to mention the fans who are doing cos-play (would have loved to bring my screen accurate Rebel Trooper outfit and balster but airport security would cause problems) all make this weekend the BEST THING EVER!!!!!!! So for me personally, hell YES ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!!

I was originally going to go for auto's and photo's but with the amazing line-up that just keeps getting better and better, im going to switch to all auto's and just one photo of Sylvester McCoy, the funds have been diverted other guests, better to have met two than to have an auto and picture of one, but hey, this may change if more guests get added. Quick question, will Ocean Finance have a stall there too as it may be needed lol

Never heard of this either. Personally, i shake the guests hand and then i f luck, i get to pose with a pic beside them, arm on shoulder, no-one has ever seemd to mind. With a female guest, i may not pull her quite so close so as to respect her boundaries, but i mean, its a quick 3 second photo lol

I fully agree with this SM on this. As an autograph hunter myself, you should respect those that really go the extra mile for fans in obtaining permission for them to attend events and chat to their fans. Personally, i send a letter to actors/actress via their agents and ask them a couple of questions and then ask if possible if they could send me their autograph marked "To Phil," as I hope this proves to them that i am not wanting to profit by selling it on to a third party but to keep it in apreciation of their craft. Its extremely anoying to hear that "poachers" like this spoil the fun for "true fans" like ourselves.

W. Morgan Shepherd is a LEGEND!!! He has been in somany shows and films with a voice that is instantly recognisable, cant wait to meet him, great work LFCC in securing him for this event:)

Hi folks, just a quick wee question. I am planning on getting the photo-shoots with John Leeson and Sylvester McCoy, but I wanted to know: Can i get my picture taken with the Tardis? Can I get my picture taken with the Batmobile? Also, will there be a charge for this or can i use my own camera? Folks, thank you to everyone who has responded on this thread, i really appreciate it:) I have the early bird tickets for the weekend, so im planning on cueing from about 8:15am in the morning; Im not interested in karen Gilliam but definatly want Christopher Lloyd, but have the whole weekend for his, there are loads of autogrpahs I want, but im gonna take your advice, have a wlak around, see who is busiest and get a queue ticket, for others just queue up when it is a little. As for crew, i know exactly how you guys feel, Im a member of the Emerald Garrison (Star Wars Costuming Club) so i know what its like directing people lol Cant wait for this event, thanks again:)

Hi folks, This will be my first time attending a major event like this. There are approx 20 guests I would like to get their autogrpahs off. Now I have the early bird tickets for Saturday and Sunday and Im staying in London. Ive never been to Earl's Court before or the LFCC and would really appreciate any tips or suggestions regarding this event, such as queues, lunches, talks etc. At the moment im only planning on two photo ops, Christopher Lloyd and (possibly Erin Gray and Gil Gerard). I have an early bird ticket for both Saturday and Sunday so i am probably going to be at the LFCC for about 8:15am or so, not fussed about Karen (Dr Who) but there are a number of other guests i really want to get their autographs.

Personally, I will only be paying for an autograph if it is personalised, that way I know that the actor/actress has signed it and not been passed in the back room by the tea boys. Plus, if you are paying £50 for an autograph then i think you have every right to spend a minute or two of their time, else its just a case of the actor only caring about the money and not their loyal fan base. That said, I'm not really a Stan Lee fan so would only pay £25-£30, same as Ian Holm as I am a really big fan of John Hurt of the Alien movie. As for Christopher Lee, I've heard mixed reports about when people have met him saying that on some occasions he was really chatty yet on others he was a little off-putting; if you are charging £50 for an autograph you should be a little accomodating to your fans. These are only my opinions though, if you atend an event like this you don't have to pay for any autographs or photo oportunities if you dont want to.

My suggestions would be Carrie Fisher, Sean Pertwee, Nana Visitor or any other actor/actress from Deep Space Nine:) PS: The line-up already is amazing:)
