Coles84
In a year that keeps taking, Chyna has passed away. A true icon of the attitude era and someone who will always be remembered in not just women's wrestling but wrestling as a whole after competing in both the Royal Rumble and king of the ring. RIP Chyna, thoughts to your family and friends.
Queen_Sindel
Until the third one of my friends messaged me I really thought this had to be a joke. This year has been so bad. I still vividly remember meeting her just when she started in WWE. The German tour was one of her first appearances. Triple H had just walked past me and unsurprisingly ignored me trying to get his autograph, just like he ignored everyone else. But Chyna not only stopped and signed. She took my photo (I had brought one of the first ones of her with Triple H), told me she'd be right back, followed Triple H into the tour bus, got him to sign for me and brought the picture back out. We were all standing there with our jaws dropped to the floor. Rest in peace, Chyna.

CHAPPiE13
There is so much that can be said about Joanie Laurer aka Chyna, but unfortunately any look back at here career to the modern day would be a combination of both good and bad. So, simply out of respect all I can say as a wrestling fan is that I hope Joanie finds the peace she was so desperately looking for in her latter years. Gone so early. I hope her family and friends get the support they will need to get through this.

She was initially advertised for another convention back in 2008, I remember seeing her name when I was on holiday and I had high hopes of meeting her, but she sadly cancelled. I think it was something to do with going to Japan to wrestle. I love your story about her though, I thought highly of her anyway, but reading this, I respect her even more now. WWE Women's champ, 2 x Playboy cover-girl. Sleep tight, Joanie, you are missed.
