I don't like them either. I think they're pointless and overpriced. Instead of wasting plastic making these things, they could make some really nice detailed action figures of some of the characters they create instead that actually LOOK like the characters they are supposed to be. The Pops are just mass produced, unattractive and boring. I have a Wonder Woman one, she'll be following the Pamela Anderson one I had, to the local charity shop. I tried but I just don't like them and I can't find any appeal or collectibility in them no matter how hard I try.

Call me sad but I'd meet Monte Markham for other reasons, he played Captain Don Thorpe in season 1 and 2 of Baywatch. ;-) And he was also in a TV series which made me cry every time when I was about 4, The Littlest Hobo, an episode called Smoke. Ahhh I loved that dog.

A fantastic actor and chap, thank you SM for the opportunity to meet him back in 2016.

LATEST GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT - BERNARD CRIBBINS
SilvaNemesis replied to showmasters's topic in London Comic Con Spring
I'm not at this event, but if you're going, Bernard is a really fantastic chap to meet, and one of my most memorable. I had a photo session with him at LFCC a few years ago, and as I walked away, a crewmember came after me, Bernard had requested I go back for another picture as he wanted to do something with my hair... and this was it... One of the nicest guests you could want to meet, without a doubt!- 55 replies

I met her a number of years ago with a friend I used to go to comic con with. I took a picture of them both together. I never watched Blake’s 7 but I instead remember Jacqueline as Miss Raven in a children’s TV series I loved called Moondial. RIP Ms Pearce.

I'd go for this too.

I was very saddened to read this, I know the implications all too well, my mum has it. I truly hope she can make it to this event, she's a really lovely lady! I was lucky enough to see her a few years back in Milton Keynes. I had two photos signed and a picture with her and she was very kind and gracious, and they are some of my most treasured.

I like to create something with my photo-shoot pics, this is just one example I've just done for Sam Neill. I don't know where the idea came from for these or why I started doing them, but I think I've collaged pretty much everyone I've ever been pictured with at an SM event. It's an enjoyable hobby! Off to do Meat Loaf next! -

The way I did it was to upload to Facebook, then use the insert other media button on here at the bottom right, insert image from url. Go back to Facebook, click on your image to enlarge it, right click to get the full url of that image, then come back here, paste it into the insert image from url box and then your picture will appear here and you can just type the captions as normal underneath them. Hope this helps. :) -

Here are mine... this was hectic enough, I can't help but wonder if Lucy Davis, Val Kilmer and Megan Fox had still attended... would I have fitted them all in? Catherine Bach - absolutely lovely, wanted to talk about hair care. So happy to meet her. :-) The original Michael Myers or... 'The Shape'... Nick Castle. Justice League's Cyborg - Ray Fisher. Really nice bloke. :-) Tony Robinson - the lighting in this photo area was awful. The print looks like that horrible 'Pamela Anderson' lighting of last year, so I'm hoping that like hers, the digital will be better! Peter Weller - Robocop. Um... yes, well moving swiftly on...! Lance Guest seemed to be appearing for mainly 'The Last Starfighter', but to me he'll always be Michael Brody in 'Jaws: The Revenge'. The truth was out there... finally it's been found... Agent Mulder, David Duchovny. Never thought this one would happen! He will do anything for love, but he won't do that... Meat Loaf... whilst we're on the subject... Dead Ringer For Love... Meat Loaf & Cher, any chance of Cher next year SM? Former WWE Wrestler Mark Henry. Jack O'Halloran portrayed Non, one of three Kryptonian super-villains who featured in 'Superman' and 'Superman II'. Glad he was able to make it this year! Tom Wopat... Luke Duke... or the dark haired one from 'The Dukes of Hazzard'. Another great bloke, very friendly. Oh Paul... I'm you're biggest fan!... Now where did I put that wooden block and sledgehammer?! A fantastically fun moment with the star of 'Stephen King's Misery', James Caan. This was the moment when he said to me "If you don't know what to do with all your hair, then give me some you son of a b****." You always were an a$$hole, Gorman! Aliens actor William Hope. And finally... Jurassic Park's Dr Alan Grant managed to escape the dinosaurs to meet the crowds at LFCC, actor Sam Neill. -
Any Steven Seagal pics or stories?
SilvaNemesis replied to King Cuppa T's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2018
Here's mine, it's hideous. Not that I profess to be photogenic myself, but apparently I put Seagal to sleep whilst I did my awkward looking smile, his eyes are clearly shut. It's normally me who has the closed eyes on photos, but not this time! I spoke to him and he just looked at me and didn't respond (rude) and then once it was done, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I also took part whenever it was in the Famke Janssen shoot and I have to say, there was no comparison with her and this. This was the most awful, uncomfortable photo-shoot moment I've ever had at Showmasters event in over ten years of attending - and that's the truth! -
DOCTOR WHO DIAMOND AUTOGRAPHS

DOCTOR WHO DIAMOND AUTOGRAPHS
SilvaNemesis replied to chewer's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2018
Oh right! I have most certainly been misinformed in that case and that was causing us to stress about getting the autographs on the day of our pass! Thanks very much for clarifying this, I will keep it in mind for any future events we may purchase diamond passes for! -
DOCTOR WHO DIAMOND AUTOGRAPHS
SilvaNemesis replied to chewer's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2018
The idea of the diamond pass or so I had it explained to me, for a specific day was that you get the autograph on that day. I asked that question last year when I had my first diamond pass for Pamela Anderson and I was told that you were to get your signature on the day that your pass was valid for and if you didn’t do that then basically it was your problem. That’s why I went straight to her and did that first. Whether I was misinformed I don’t know, but I’m very wary now. Going by the immense queues for Meat Loaf, had I not gone to the red shirt, the blue shirt would have kept turning us away and we’d never have got there. I can’t imagine them letting me into the queue on Saturday when I was apparently ‘supposed’ to have done it on Friday. But yes we did it and thank you I was both pleased and relieved we got them done too. -
DOCTOR WHO DIAMOND AUTOGRAPHS
SilvaNemesis replied to chewer's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2018
It was a similar situation on Friday for us with Diamond Passes for Meat Loaf. We kept getting turned away from his queue until in the end, I went to a lady in a red shirt and explained we were Diamond Pass holders and that we had been turned away several times and told to come back in the afternoon (at which point I had several photo-sessions), and she very kindly took us through so we could get our autographs. Whoever you are, many thanks! -
