Showmasters Admin showmasters Posted June 10, 2014 Showmasters Admin Share Posted June 10, 2014 CONTINUING to expand its hugely popular Comic Zone programme, Showmasters is now pleased to announce an opportunity for up and coming artists to receive a free detailed analysis and assessment of their work from a creator who has already established himself in the comics industry. Currently lined up to provide constructive criticism and advice for those who want to improve their skills are Jon Bogdanove (Superman), Howard Chaykin (American Flagg), Paul Gulacy (Master of Kung Fu), David Lloyd (V for Vendetta), Mike Mayhew (The Star Wars) and Brendan McCarthy (2000 AD) with more to be added in the coming days. The critiques will take place at a specially designated area attached to the Comic Zone Information Booth at the London Film and Comic Con from July 11-13. They commence on Friday at 6:30pm and at 10:00am on Saturday and Sunday with the artists being available on a rotating basis throughout the weekend. Each will be giving an hour of his time before handing over to a colleague. Portfolios will be seen on a first come, first served basis. v.pearson
This might sound daft with it being in the comic section BUT does it have to be a completed comic....or can it be concept art work....or just art work for a critique in general?
