  1. The staff do their best but they need some training! Even half a day would probably be enough! Your experience completely depended on the staff running that guest! The young girl running Will Wheaton VQ on Saturday should not have been on one of the bigger guests...she just didn't have enough confidence to be able to run such a guest...not her fault. The guy running Alan Tudyk on Sunday was fantastic however. The lady with the brunette bunches, glasses and the Wonder Woman dress running Kevin Smith for Sunday (and who did the photo shoot on Saturday) should not be allowed to volunteer again. I get that she's been doing it for a while but she personally ruined a lot of people's experiences. She was exceptionally rude and aggressive to a teenager with her finger in his face and telling him not to mess her about (he had been let through as the last before Kevin went to his radio show). She was physically pushing people away from Kevin after their photo even when they were already moving away and continuously physically moved people in the auto queue on Sunday. Many people have anxiety or simply don't like to be touched and I lost count of the number of times people were upset by her doing this. I even commented to another helper but as it was someone who had been friends with her for 20 years my comment fell on deaf ears. The blue shirts on the queue were unimpressed with her behaviour and said they would make a complaint so I hope they do! Kevin wanted to personalise and she was literally sat on the desk next to him at one point and when he started to she yelled NO and put her hand out so he couldn't do it! You could see it was annoying him and the blonde lady who seemed to be his management or something! Kevin was still talking to us (we'd only been up for about 10 seconds at this point) and she tried to physically move me away...as a bigger lady however she didn't have much luck! Kevin just raised his eyebrows at her and finished his comments! She had no LFCC shirt on or a lanyard etc and she kept patrolling the line saying 'you all know me, you've seen me before.' Seems that the power went to her head. I never normally post negative feedback but she single-handedly ruined the experience for A LOT of people...i just hope that the many people who said they were going to complain about her will do! I will be sending an email about her behaviour to Showmasters!
  2. Hi I'm good for ID etc but my husband doesn't have a passport or driving licence/student card etc. He has his birth certificate and his bank and credit cards...would that be enough to pick up his Diamond Pass or does it have to be photo as he literally has NOTHING?! Many thanks
  3. The shop told me that they can't do ANY upgrades to Diamond Package but if you buy the Diamond and then send them the order number and the order number for your original purchase (that you're replacing with the Diamond) then they will refund you the original. That's what they did for me with Alan Tudyk. Refund was processed in a day but takes at least 5 working days to hit your account. Hope it helps x

  5. I've tried to find an answer to this but I can't find one...not that there isn't one potentially...just that my brain is frazzled and I can't see it! With a diamond pass do you HAVE to go to the DP allocated shoot or can you go to one later in the day (the DP shoot clashes with two talks I have)? I know you'd have to go on the day you specified at checkout...but is either of their allocated slots available or MUST it be the DP one essentially? Thanks all, you're super helpful! x
  6. Ah ok, I get you! So Diamond passes don't get early entry? Are the extra's worth it do you think then guys?
  7. Hi all Showmasters have offered me a refund on my Alan Tudyk bits and pieces so I can get a Diamond Pass as they can't do an upgrade. How long would it take to get this refund through do you think as it means paying an extra £180 I wasn't planning on spending and would need the original pennies back asap? Any advice would be fab, thanks all x
  8. Ok, so I can go Thursday to collect my Alan Tudyk Diamond Pass. Then, Saturday & Sunday I just queue up at the Diamond Pass entrance and don't have to worry about anything once I get in? SO confussled haha x
  9. If you've taken the plunge and ended up buying photo, auto and talk for a guest (separately) over time...are you able to upgrade to a diamond pass and pay the extra? Sorry if it's been asked before! x
  10. Is this just for Diamond and Gold passes or would there be anything else to pick up?
  11. Poop! Thank you for the reply hun - mistyped, it's actually Wheaton not Smith but still same situation sob!
  12. I mistyped - it's actually Will Wheaton not Kevin Smith! Poop - ok, thank you x
  13. For people who have BOTH Will Wheaton & Alan Tudyk talk tickets for Saturday morning.......can you stay in the seating area after Will or do you have to leave and join the back of what I imagine will be a long queue for Alan? Wanting a better seat for Tudyk than for Wheaton but might not be able to? Help please guys? Many thanks x
