Well I’ve sent off a few items to my mate to get signed at the signing, “Lost in time”, “The Invason”, “The Ambassadors of death” & “The Daemons”.

also has anyone heard anything about the Tom baker signing because I’m getting a little worried now.

As far as I'm aware it's happening early April

I’ll be honest I can’t feign surprise anymore and I’m running out of gags, hence I resolved to a cheap joke about the radio DJ.

I’ve just had a thought, remember a few months ago when the newspapers were saying Millie Gibson was already on her way out, is it me or does it feel like the tabloids were trying to make people rally against her.

personally I don’t think she’s gonna be leaving that soon, and I think it’s a repeat of what happened ironically with season 14 where the agent of the late Pamela Salem when she was cast in “The Robots of death” went to the press and said she was the new Doctor who girl, and I think were seeing a repeat of this.

i personally want Gibson to be in for the full two series I think it’s important to me as I said to miss Greenidge how happy I am to see a small bit of representation with a character who isn’t from the traditional family IE adopted, so I’m happy to see that, baring the character of Ruby doesn’t overstay their welcome like Clara did, and yes I understand she has her fans but personally by the end of series 8 I was ready to say goodbye, series 9 really felt like she didn’t want to be there.

Its once again the papers stirring up a storm to sell copies/advertising. Whilst I dont think she will be in every episode of series 15, she is definatly going to be a big part of it.

The same press who said she was a diva, because she didnt enjoy all night filming.

The most annoying thing about all this, is no one from the production department or BBC came out to confirm or debunk the rumours. The only one who did way Ncuti, who shared a picture of the two of them with the caption 'My Ruby'

It didnt have to be much, just someone coming out and saying she is staying for a second series

Its good that hes defended her, personally i don't need a companion staying for more than a single series, but it is nice to know that we will be with the character for a while, its sorta why i have an issue with a character in Londons Burning Tony Sanderson, whilst hes in the show for its first three series (And in my opinion a bit of a prat with how they portrayed him in series 1&2), its the character who replaced him from series 4-14 we actually had a decent amount of time with.

so i was happy that Yaz stayed with the series for what ended up being 4 years as we finally had a companion who stuck around for a considerable amount of time, and i don't consider her the longest running companion because her episode count even if you doubled it to account for the run time, is still rather short of Frazer Hines tenure on the show which was basically all but a single episode from his introduction on December 17th 1966 to his departure 21st june 1969 (The episode in question being "Enemy of the world" Episode 4, every other episode that Hines was on Holiday he had prerecorded a scene which to my knowledge was just "The Invasion" Episode 8), and this was back in the day when you had to be working 40+ weeks a year, and bare in mind back in 1964 when William Russell finally had his holiday he'd been working 37 weeks straight and still prerecorded a staggering amount of footage for "The Reign of Terror" to where it felt like he was still there if not for it being on 35mm film not 16mm Videotape (Wish the entire series was shot on the former).

my point being as long as their is reason to have Ruby Sunday i want her to be there, if a character runs their course don't arbitrarily extend their tenure to appease fans, its honestly why a good portion of Series 9 is boring to me.

and yeah the Press needs to back off, i don't trust news articles pertaining to the show these days, because facts are wrong, they deliberately change the truth to get people angry and sell more copies, its also why i have only a single youtuber Doctor who wise that i actually trust with news and info which is Dalek 63:88 and thats because they seem reputable and they've inspired me to be more thorough with my research and eventual videos.

Yeah I just saw on Instagram so it’s getting close to the point where I can’t wait for my cover to be signed as well, to have Tom on my Keeper of Traken completing the main cast along with Director and Villain, and then have him on my new Season 15 which I plan to get a healthy number of people on next month IE those announced for signings will be beautiful

I dont trust the press when it comes to news on Doctor Who, unless it comes from an official release. To many rumours, half truths and gossip, just cant be doing with it all

So i hit the gold mine with what i've managed to score, and that is a Michael Craze Signed VHS cover of "The War Machines", downside is it's dedicated to a guy called Rex, but that can be covered up by another signature, but yeah excited that i found such a cover with his name on it, also had to order a VHS of said story because i didn't own one, so thats something.

Nice score. Especially hardly anything would have been released whilst he was still with us.

I've got my eye on a new greatest show in the Galaxy DVD with Janet Hargreaves, Stephen Wyatt and Sylvester McCoy signatures on. All undedicated. Mostly as I dont have Hargreaves ans Wyatt, and whilst mine is pretty full. All mine are dedicated.

And most of the ones I have are semi regulars on the circuit so can be added relatively easily, apart from Dean Hollingsworth who I got via a private signing

Saying that Ricco Ross, does a fair number of conventions in the states it would be nice to get him over this side of the pond

I’ve only ever replaced 2 covers and those were under difficult choices, IE I had Colin Baker on “the two Doctors” and Sylvester McCoy on “Battlefield” but both got replaced when a copy of “The Two Doctors” with Bryant, Pearce and Clinton Greyn came up for cheap and a copy of “Battlefield” signed by Nicholas Courtney came up for not so cheap, neither set had been really started and by names who being real appear all the time.

its why I had a dilemma when I saw a cover of “the Invasion” signed by Courtney because I want anything I can get with his name but then I already had the 3 other regulars and a healthy number of guest actors so replacing it was out of the question, hence I got lucky with a booklet when that came up.

We’ve still a lot of time to see who we’re gonna get for LFCC July, more and more actors are travelling now for events so we may get lucky with someone who are across the pond.

i know someone said that Lala Ward isn’t in the Uk but where I can’t remember but it would be nice for her to make an appearance especially as there are a few things I need with her IE my “Shada” & “Warriors Gate”
