banana123
Terms and conditions from LFCC 2015 ticket page. Tickets include entry on days stated only and activities may take place on any day. We do not take responsibility for any missed activities due to not being present for the full duration of the event. Guests appear subject to work commitments. Not all guests will appear all days. Tickets will not be refunded upon the event of a guest cancelling. The event team will endeavour to find a reasonable replacement if such cancellations occur. Tickets are non refundable or transferable unless the show is cancelled. Title, ownership and all rights, now and in the future, of and for all photo shoot images, remain exclusively with Showmasters Ltd. Photo shoot images will be available to download for personal, non commercial use after the event for a set fee. We reserve the right to refuse entry to those that cause disturbance or refuse to comply with reasonable requests from the event management team. Any such persons may be removed from the premises. Can this be confirmed if these are the new terms and conditions?
Moderators DavidB Posted February 25, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 25, 2015 They are aware of this. It's something copied over from Sherlocked.
dazza1234
If you pay for a photo and they don't turn up will they still refund or give you a voucher instead?
Moderators etmuse Posted February 25, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 25, 2015 The process if a guest cancels is still exactly the same as it always was. Guest-specific tickets will still be refunded if a guest cancels.
Queen_Sindel
My apologies, as it's been said this is a copy and paste error from Sherlocked. The processs has definitely not changed. If a guest cancels the event all photoshoot tickets will be refunded. The terms and conditions will be changed back to the correct wording as soon as possible. The change should be done by some point tomorrow morning at the latest. EDIT: It's been looked at as I post this. Zahariel
Looks like it has now been changed to: "Only entry tickets and gold passes include entry to the event, and this will be on the days stated only. Activities may take place on both days of the event. We do not take responsibility for any missed activities due to not being present for the full duration of the event.Guests appear subject to work commitments. Not all guests will appear all days.Entry tickets are non refundable or transferable unless the show is cancelled, however should you purchase an individual photo session with a guest who cancels you will be allowed a refund.Title, ownership and all rights, now and in the future, of and for all photo shoot images, remain exclusively with Showmasters Ltd. Photo shoot images will be available to download for personal, non commercial use after the event for a set fee.We reserve the right to refuse entry to those that cause disturbance or refuse to comply with reasonable requests from the event management team. Any such persons may be removed from the premises." Seems OK now to my eyes, though it's a 3 day event (The friday is considered a full day now right? - maybe no talks but 7hrs is 7hrs...) - Not nit picking I swear, just helping to BETA test the new system Edited February 25, 2015 by Zahariel
