Will Jones
IN a landmark announcement for TNA Wrestling, at an MSG press conference, Dixie Carter announced that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff had signed with TNA. Hogan will be an on air personality, but the in ring action depends on how his Australian Tour goes this Winter. Eric Bischoff's role is uncertain as it is his Entertainment Company Bishcoff Hervey who have struck the deal and he may well be there to develop programming etc for TNA. It has also been revealed that there are bigger announcements to come, although sources close to the deal say that Ric Flair is in prelim talks to sign on as well. Not related news has Kevin Nash being suspended for the next lot of Impact Tapings in the lead up to the Turning Point PPV for his verbal assault to Team 3D and also an unscheduled shoot promo to the Impact Zone on how disgusted he was that Team 3D did not protect Chris Sabin in their match after he had a bad landing and was otu cold. He reckons that Team 3D and Creative should have changed the finish on the fly and got help for Sabin. The suspension came down from Dixie Carter. jakeblue
Dont get me wrong, potentially it could be huge for TNA if done right, however the fact that five of the TNA roster asked for their release when it was announced that the Hulkster had signed up speaks volumes really doesnt it
Will Jones
Which five did you hear about?
MaraJade
Kaz asked for a release but AJ and Daniels talked management into coming to a deal to keep him on. Word is that AJ is very unhappy in TNA.

TheViolentMessiah
I hope this gets some exposure for TNA, I expect it will, but then they have to use by showing off their great young talent like Styles and Daniels and only use Hogan to get regular WWE fans through the door. Will Jones
This is the conern, but looking the line up for Final Resolution, they seem to be stickign with the Youth Movement as they call it. Only time will tell with regards to Hogan.
TheViolentMessiah
Well the last PPV had two great main event matches with Angle vs. McGuinness and Daniels vs. Styles vs. Joe. Hopefully TNA will see the reaction to those kind of matches and know that something is deffinately right.
Kyle Beech
TNA's picked up in recent months but I think if Hogan became a full-time roster member it would be WCW 2000 all over again
Will Jones
I think the big difference here is that who owns TNA. With a solid business behind it who want it to suceed, and the fact WCW happened, I cannot see them letting Hogan et al take over.
TheViolentMessiah
I think it could actually do some good I hope, Hogan might be able to sway a little away from Russo, variety is the spice of life.
Will Jones
Russo seriously needs to go, otherwise TNA will just be WWE Junior. Hogan coming in will garner TNA worldwide exposure...but long term damage. Any control given to him is suicidal. If he can coach the younger talent in putting on a good show, then great. Otherwise, just get rid of him as soon as possible. This isn't the 80's. He is a leach.
TheViolentMessiah
I cant agree with you more, TNA always needs to lean away from any ex-WWE talent anyway, it cant seem to help itself.
