TommyT Posted March 20, 2009 Share Posted March 20, 2009 What you have to remember is that last time the sellout was about three weeks before the event, which is the sort of time that ME would be finalising their guests anyway. I think the guest was about due to be announced anyway, and Jason just used a bit of showmanship to link the guest announcement with the sellout. A guest announcement about 30+ weeks before the event is very unlikely. Plus like DonutB said, getting guests takes time - it's not like you can go down to your local supermarket and grab a couple off the shelves. (Plus I think even if ME were planning a guest announcement to coincide with a sellout, I think even they will have been a little surprised wth how fast it has sold...)
