  1. I booked online just now Francesca and the whole cost of the room is non refundable but all you pay at the moment is the £30. So if you go or don't go you'll eventually be charged the £300. That's why it states the room cost is £300, underneath it states you'll be charged a £30 deposit with the rest payable when you arrive. I had to call the hotel as my separate booking for the Thursday night my email didn't come through and they confirmed with me that my rooms were booked and I had been charged £75 for the Thursday night and £30 so far for the Fri-Sun. Thank you evilfairie. I'll book later, when the first guests will be announced.
  2. Very tempted to go, but the online hotel booking still requires a full payment in advance today. I'll probably have to call the hotel, but can you tell me if they will charge me 300£ if I cancel my booking, or only the 30£ non refundable deposit?
  3. Great guests, but i'm waiting for more announcements before purchasing a ticket.
  4. I'm so excited, I really hope Martin and Amanda will be announced!
  5. I must have lunch early so I'll be in front of my computer at 1 PM (French time) for the news and the sale! Good news for the ExCel!
  6. I'm so happy, i didn't know until a friend sent a message to me. The official FB page has posted the news just after the Christmas episode. Maybe they wanted to wait the screening before announcing the news. I also hope it will be at the ExCel again, it will be so much easier for me to organize my travel.
  7. I really hope the next event will be held in London, it's easier for me to travel to London than to another UK city.
  8. I just came back home in France, and I already missed my Sherlock bubble! I had an awesome week end, highlighted by my meeting with Benedict. I didn't know he was sick, but he seems not very well so I understand now. But he was very nice, took the time to say a "nice meeting you" and thank you during the photo shoot and the autograph in spite of the rush. After my photo with 221b set with him, I told him to have a quiet and relaxing night as he deserved it after a so exhausting day. :) Louise B and Mark were very funny, Louise asked me questions during the photo shoot. Andrew was a sweetheart and Lara is very beautiful. The crew was very helpful and nice, as a Platinum pass holder, I really appreciated the priority for the photo shoots, the autographs and the talks even if I felt sometimes shameful to be directed in front of some people who were queuing for a long time. I've managed to have all my photos and my autographs and went to all the talks except few ones, mostly because of Ben's delayed schedule in Sunday afternoon. I was very happy to be able to discuss with other fans in the queues, ladies from England, the U.S. and France, it was a delight to share our experiences. My complaints go to the parties which were not what I expected. We've queued one hour on Friday night because of the only one elevator, and the rooms were not decorating according to the announced themes. There were not animations or decorations so we've left very quickly. I didn't go to the parties on Saturday night but apparently, it was not better. The beginning of the screening was terrible too. I understand there could be a technical problem with the sound, but I think the staff had reacted too slowly, in spite of complaints and so many people leaving. I felt sorry for a lady and her daughter who have paid for the screening and left after 10 minutes. The queue for the BBC shop was so long on Friday night, I don't understand why there were only two cashiers with so,many people. I really hope there will be another Sherlock convention in London in the future, maybe with Martin and his wife :) It was exhausting, I didn't have the time to eat or to go to the bathroom, but it was a very memorable event for me. Thank you so much for organizing this event!
  9. I admit I was worried about the schedule and the clashes before the con, but the crew was amazing, so nice and helpful. They did an excellent job and I felt sorry for their throat (repeating loudly over again and again is not helpful) and their hands (the hole punch thing spelled to be very difficult to manage!). Thanks to them, I managed to have all my photos and my autographs and went to all the talks except the group talk, Lars&Rupert on Sunday but it was because Ben's delayed schedule, and the visual effects. Thnks so much to them!
  10. Thanks etmuse, I've seen it, I'm glad I've waited before paying.
  11. Mine is valid too, but I want to have an explanation before paying, I really think it's about the upgrade ticket I've received few days ago from ME, because I've upgraded my pass in March and I never received an E-ticket validation since,
  12. I've received one too. I think it's because of the additional ticket upgrade I've received from Masisve Event but it's not my responsibility so I don't want to pay.
  13. Me too, I've just posted in another thread. I refuse to pay as I already pay the first time. What do I have to do?
  14. I've received few days ago an additional ticket from Massive Event for my upgraded Platinum Pass. Now, I'm receiving an email asking me for paying 2,50£ E-ticket validation. It can't be for my purchases as I made them months ago. What do I have to do?
  15. I'll try to do that, but I'm afraid there will be some delays or changes during the event, so it will be totally improvised. jhw, I look at the name of the image, if it has changed, I'll know it is an updated version. It can be tricky but it is the only way as we don't have announcement about the updates.
  16. I've finished my planning, I give up the panels of the second stage and I really don't know when I'll have time for the autographs (except Benedict and Mark) (and I even didn't think about food, I guess I'll eat during the queues) but I'm happy to be able to assist to the main talks. I hope there won't be more changes until Friday!
  17. It would be great if an annoucement could be made for the changes! Thanks slhomitz for the information! We also have sessions for Mark Gatiss autographs.
  18. Sorry if it has been answered before but will the autograph sessions for Benedict be called by group order : VIP, then group A then group B? Can I assume as a part of group B that I won't be able to have my autograph between 9 AM and 9:30 AM Saturday morning?
  19. Unless guests are on a break, in a photoshoot or a talk, they are signing all day. Thank you for the answer! I have to think about the best time to go...
  20. I don't think it looks too bad though, most of the shoots will be over relatively quickly as we will be first in so there should be time to get to the talks before they start? It's not going to be possible to put all the talks and shoots on so there are no clashes as there are too many guests. I'm in Group B so on Sunday morning, I have 3 photoshoots at 9:30 AM while the Rupert Graves & Jonathan Aris talk is at 10 AM. Then, I'll have 3 photoshoots at 11 AM at the same time of Andrew Scott & Mark Gatiss. Even if the photoshoots are going fast, I think it will take at least 30 min, and the talks are only 45 min, so I'll cross my fingers!
  21. When will the autographs sessions be?
  22. It seems that the Platinum and Gold pass holders have a lot of clashes as the main talks are in the morning while most of the photoshoots. However, the possibility to go to other photoshoots sessions is great, I think I'll go to several photoshoots in the afternoo on Sunday.
  23. I'll travel to London alone this week end, it will be difficult to get a selfie on the escalator
  24. I really like the way you count evilfairie, I'm doing the same thing to justify my upgrade to Platinum Pass.
