Helen Mirren as Trelawney would be good. What do people think of Timothy Spall playing Peter Pettigrew. I had Pettigrew as being skinny in my mind (like a rat) and Timoth Spall is normally more on the chunky side ! Although he does normally make a good baddy.

Yes, Gary Oldman will make a good Sirius Black. It will be a shame if they take Trelawney out, as she also appears quite a bit in Order of the Phoenix when her teaching is being assesed by Umbridge !

Yeah, Lee Majors rocked. The Fall Guy was essential T.V. viewing on a Saturday Night. I wonder if Douglas Barr "Howie" and Heather Thomas, "Jody" do conventions as well ? Talking of essential Saturday viewing, the A-Team was a must. I am sure some of them do conventions, particularly Dirk Benedict.

Scott Bakula would be good. I used to love Quantum Leap. Why not Dean Stockwell also (Al from Quantum Leap ). And Christopher Lee would be superb. He is great in so many movies.

Uma Thurman - Gattaca - Ethan Hawke

If anyone has ever met Star Wars guests at Conventions they have loads of great stories. It would be nice to see some of these appear on the Special Edition DVD's of A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Come to think of it, something about the whole Star Wars phenomena , including conventiones themselves would be good as well.

If you look on the Internt Movie Database there is no Professor Trelawney listed for the POA. It while since I read the book, but there is someone called Madam Rosmerta played by Julie Christie. Was there a Madam Rosmerta in the book ? I am glad that Gary Oldman is going to be Sirius Black.

Christopher Lee has definitely done some signings. I think he has signed copies of his book at the Forbidden Planet and possibly the Cinema Store as well. Sadly, I wasn't able to go. In terms of length of career within Horror, Fantasy and Sci Fi he must be just about the best guest you can have. With a track record of numerous Hammer Horror Films, Plus a baddie in James Bond (The Man with the Golden Gun), The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars he must be the ideal guest. He was also in one of the Gremlins films , did some voice overs for the Terry Pratchett series. He has also appeared in Space 1999 and the Avengers. Christopher Lee is as close as you can get to Royalty in this field ! If there is any chance he could be at C5 that would make my year.

What about Martin Kemp ? He has been in a few films. I am not sure whether Embrace of the Vampire counts though ?!?

The big record fair at Wembley last December had some Music stars signing and even a little gig there. They also had Ingrid Pitt and Caroline Munro for the Film Buffs. Having stars from the World of Music , would mean giving over some space to Music Dealers as well I would imagine. It would probably work, but I don't know if Showmasters have plans to take over the Music convention world just yet, but just in case: Maybe someone like Tony Hadley might come along, or maybe Mark Owen they seem to need a buck or two.

He was great at C3. It was quite funny though as I was waiting. Samantha Bond knocked her Coffee all over Robert's table and the floor, but heh we all need coffee to keep awake when Freddy's about ! He also said he was sharing an apartment with Mark Hamill when he got called to say he had the part of Luke Skywalker on Star Wars . Cool or what !!

I got autographs from Lou Ferrigno (Incredible Hulk), Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) and waited for ages for my number for Billy Boyd, but had to go to get back home to go to a party before it was called.

I know Pat Morita had to pull out last time, and I wondered if there was a chance he may be able to come to C4 ?

Some more Bond guests would be cool, Rosamund Pike Judi Dench And from Star Wars Jerome Blake and Alan Ruscoe are both good convention guests And maybe from America: Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman, 1970's , 80's) Adam West (Batman , 1960's) I think they both do signing events.
