I can unofficially confirm Greg Grunberg, star of Alias and Lost, will be attendance. I'm putting together a group to kidnap him at Eclipse and hide him away somewhere till this event.

With the announcement of Christine Rose for the Midlands, there are now more Heroes guests announced for other events than the Heroes con itself, which is really disappointing.

Do yourself a favour Gem and check it out. It really is quite good. It has plenty of twists so you can't always figure out what is going to happen next and has featured great cast such as Jennifer Garner, Greg Grunberg, David Anders, Terry O' Quinn, Amy Acker, Gina Torres, Quentin Tarantino and many more. I'm sure I have seen the complete 5 series boxset going for less than £50 so it's a bargain too.

Now that the other event we can't mention has been changed to something else, any chance you can try and get Greg, as he couldn't make the first one.

Just seen Being Human for the first time and thought he was awful in it. Can't comment on his other work, but the only other person to make me turn off a series so quick was Katee Sackhoff in BSG. Shame as it seems a good idea and some of the other cast are alright.

Cool. If we get Paul Bradley, we might get Anita Dobson and then we could have an Eastenders Corner. Then we could have a Corrie v's Eastenders talk and then........................... Yeah all those guys and David Ross would be great If we get Anita Dobson, she can bring her hubby, Brian May and his band to do the music.

So let me get this straight. You buy a programme for the event that includes entry to both parties but, if you don't want to put an H sticker on your head for whatever reason, you won't be let in. What about people who took the sticker off once they were in - would they then be asked to leave? I quite like the idea of a hologram party but the idea of people not being allowed in if they don't want a sticker on their head is wrong in so many ways. For one thing, entry to the parties is included in the price for the programmes so, not only would people probably be seriously p***ed off, but what you are suggesting would probably be illegal. I was joking!

I'm pretty sure most of the main cast have no interest in doing these type of events or charge so much it wouldn't be worth booking them. Apart from Rose having to pull out of an event a few years ago, due to the filming of Planet Terror, I honestly can't recall seeing any event listed anywhere in the whole world with the main Charmed sisters in attendance in the last several years.

How about a Hologram Party? Nobody would have to spend money on fancy dress as ME could just provide a H sticker to put on our heads and you wouldn't be allowed into the party without your sticker on. This goes to everybody including guests and bar staff.

I was also under the impression that the B7 event was held because of it's 30th Anniversary. This does not mean there won't be anymore, but with SM/ME's current long list of events, I find it hard to see where it would fit in. If the rumoured remake comes about, then maybe a convention for the new and old cast might be a possibility, but there has not been any new developments on that situation that I am aware of. David, the particular spam I mentioned earlier was not a topic I opened with a strange title, it was some on going discussion post about something which I can't remember now. I did report it though and it was removed fairly quickly.

I post on a number of forums, including some which have more members than this, and they don't have this problem. They need to do something to prevent new members being able to post straight away by perhaps sending a validation email to activate the account, which spambots might not be able to do, or contact the board designers and ask if anything can be done to prevent it. It has gone on for too long to be acceptable now and some of the images posted in the past have involved people doing things to animals which my eyes never should have seen. I know SM has no control over it, but there are steps they can take to prevent it, and I don't feel enough is being done. I'm an adult and feel some of these images are inappropriate for me and I'm not easily offended.

This has been happening on and off for several months. Spammers sign p and post all kinds of things in every topic listed. I remember the first ever Eclipse forum was blitzed with it on a regular basis.

Hi Mark! Thanks for the reply. I understand how frustrating posts like these can be, but there has been no communication from yourself or anyone associated with the event, giving out any information and the event is creeping up really quickly. ME know how to put on a good event, but when I am trying to get new people interested or discuss this event with other fans, I have nothing to try and sell them on other than it is a Heroes convention with guests to be confirmed. Even if you haven't got a guest to announce at the moment, how about starting to announce details of the parties, as this would allow people to start getting their costumes ready and give them something to get excited about. Just regular small posts, even if once every couple of weeks, just to let people know how how things are coming along. I already have talked several people into trying to get time of work to attend Better Than Life because they can see what they are getting for their money and it is a lot cheaper than this event. Many people need more notice about events in advance to book time off work and to get enough money together to attend, so by making no announcements about anything at all, you limit your turnout. We want these events to run just as well as you do, as we all enjoy meeting the guests, making new friends and partying all weekend, so please don't look at these posts as people whinging and moaning, just feedback from concerned customers and friends. Now get get those guests!

The third is Bruce BoxLeitner, He appeared as the Senator that Tracy Froze right at the beginning of Season 3. I have realised, that if you count comic artists, then there are 4 Heroes guests at LFACC as Phil Jimenez has done some Heroes artwork.

LFCC has no less than 3 Heroes guests announced including Jessalyn Gilsig who was announced today. I know about Sendhil & Jessalyn, but who is the third? Another similar event elsewhere has already announced some guests, so as well as everything else people have mentioned, this time ME has competition and really need to pull an ace out real quick. The fact that no messages appear to be coming leaves me feeling disappointed.

I have heard from a usually reliable source that those pictures in The Sun were part of something for Comic Relief. I really do hope that it is true.

This is really getting rather silly now! Other events have guests announced and they take place well after this. I can't make it since the dates were moved, but I spread the word to people as you asked, they are interested in going but it is really time to announce those guests or the event will flop. I have a feeling this event may end up cancelled.

As topic title says. At least we will have had the chamce to see these before the event. Hopefully the DVD will be out soon afterwards.
