Would be a bargain, current price for an "officially licensed" sitdown graph starts around 800, and goes up depending on the item, posters are over a grand. Hence my guess of a potential diamond pass for him being 1000+. At 500 a pop i would get everything i needed done, and i am sure plenty more people would, he would sell out in a heartbeat. -

If it is Ford, that's a 1000+ diamond pass for sure, and that's on the low side if it includes a photo. Would i get one? You're damn right i would! -
Event Security Update
Mark_the_Wookiee replied to showmasters's topic in Film & Comic Con Newcastle 2017 October
Ok, need some advise here. If you read their bag regulations, they are basically saying that they're not going to let in bags, not just big bags and backpacks, but also laptopbags, which i use to transport my large photos and tube. Are they expecting me to carry the stuff in my arms? If this is the case i need to know this, because that is not going to be possible, i have a LOT of stuff to get signed. -

Is your Con bag packed already?
Mark_the_Wookiee replied to andyfilm_1's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
These are propably sold at the con? I don't have any...I just have this folder-thingy so I don't crush them in my backbag...Have a look at Frank's Autographs. They'll be at the con and their stuff is great. A lot of us here use them and if you talk to them at the con they'll tell you the best way to store everything. I was advised by a lady at a convention once that the hard plastic autograph holders can actually strip the autograph off of the photo if left for too long Has anyone ever experienced this? I have all of my autographs in them and I'm almost too scared to check if I've ruined some of the older ones! I can't imagine they'd be so popular if they were harmful surely? They're popular because they are great for short term safe keeping, as in getting them home safely, but not suitable for long term storage. That's not to say that your graphs are ruined, you could be lucky, but i HAVE seen it happen quite a few times..the graph and part of the photo will stick to the plastic. Get something with polypropylene sheets and archival safe backing paper. -
Latest Guest Announcement - GARRICK HAGON
Mark_the_Wookiee replied to showmasters's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
Why would you want his graph on a poster from a film he wasn't in? Honestly, imo don't get Hagon on ANH either. Just keep it main cast only, in the end you'll be happy you made that choice... You already have Hamill and Daniels...you can add Prowse and Baker next month, and then you only need Fisher and Mayhew. There's also Lucas and Ford ofcourse, but they're expensive unless you catch them in person. -

Empire Strikes Back Guests

Jack Purvis was the Chief ugnaught, but he's deceised. Mike Edmonds was one as well, he'll be in MK...don't know of any more. I don't think Rusty was an ugnaught, he didn't mention it when asked. -
Good suggestion, love Hell on Wheels, and he's the main actor in it for me. Anson Mount, Common and Colm Meaney are cool too, but Mr Gundersen is a GREAT character!

This is the first time that the Summer LFCC has been held at Olympia, so to be honest we're not really sure where anything will be. When the Winter show was held there it was all in one room with an area sectioned off for the talks but the Summer show is much bigger so I imagine they will be in a seperate area. Last year at Earl's Court there were 2 halls used and half of one of them was used as a massive stage area for the talks (although the sound was terrible) so I'd expect it to be a fairly large this year too. But really, as you say, we won't get this kind of info until a week or so before the show. The summer LFCC 2012 was in Olympia as well, with stalls/guests/talks in the front and more guests in the back. The biggest talk area was on the side, but sound was pretty bad. -
Any alternatives to this? The store apparently doesn't ship to my country. I believe these are equivalent, they're what I use :) They only sell the general A3 etc sizes though. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Goldline-Display-Sleeves-Polypropylene-Reinforced/dp/B003CRXRIU Yeah, as long as they're archival safe you're good. I'm sure if you google it you'll find a source for them in Norway. Shipping can be pretty steep if you order from another country, i ordered my first deluxe profolio from the US, and that got quite expensive, but in the long run it's a small investment for the wellbeing of your graphs. We spend a lot of money on them, so spending a bit more on storage is a must in my opinion. Just search for anything with polypropylene sheets and acid-free backing paper.

For the the people that STORE their graphs in the plastic toploaders, i really do suggest you look for an archival safe solution for your precious autographs...you will regret it some day. I use them too when i'm at the show, but only to get them home safely. I've seen horrible results from longterm storage, photos/graphs sticking to the plastic, completely destroying it. Same thing can happen when you frame your graphs without a mat, with the photo touching the glass/plastic...recipe for disaster. For longterm storage i use Itoya art profolios. They have polypropylene sheets with acid free backing paper, as safe as you can get. The basic 8x10 version will run you about 9 quid for 24 pages (48 photos), and the deluxe leatherette version with polyglass sheets costs about 40 to 50. http://www.portfoliosplus.co.uk/display.aspx?supplier=26
