I was over there Christmas shopping today, had a natter with a girl who was doing promotions for the shows they're doing over the festive period. She said that with regards to actual floorspace, think ExCel...

Met him before on a budget, might have to go again, without the coldsore this time, and maybe, if I can swing it, with a meerkat..... -

Ah, sorry, got me wires crossed. Forget I said anything! Lol.

That would be Ros or Daryn I believe... After the last show I saw her at, someone suggested the name Sahira. I guess I'm none the wiser then! Well, I was the outside queue wrangler at Photo B, only remember there being me, Kyle, Ros on bags, Daryn inside, although I have to admit that the whole day is a blur. Are you talking about the young lady in the black t-shirt with purple picture on?

I aim to please Freckles, and the great thing about working for SM is that I get to let my natural, exubarant, frustrated actor side out, and interact with all of you lovely, wonderful people! Reddragon, I'm really sorry about the way things went. I did try to explain what was going on at the time, but I was trying to manage two queues on my own, and Joe Flanigan's shoot before you went a little wrong. Just to compund things, we had 20-30 people in the queue that had Ian McNeice shoots also, and the hold-up caused a clash between the two shoots. All of us in Photo B were trying our very best, but sometimes circumstances force things to go in a different direction to that which was planned. The best laid plans of mice and men... I just hope that it didn't have an adverse affect on your weekend, and that the rest of the show made up for this small snafu.... Barry Hi Barry Thinking about it now I shouldn't have used the word fiasco. Put it down to a bad day at work yesterday. I realise you were only doing your best. At the time, there were many people getting hot and bothered partially due to the heat. Once again I thank you for the apology and apologise myself for the comment about the photoshoot. All in all it was a great weekend and I did enjoy it especially meeting David Tennant. reddragon Hey, no worries, no offence was taken! We're all friends here, right? Glad you had a good time!

I'm more interested in the Eve/Angie picture. Will she put it up or won't she?

I was surprised to see all the signs laying flat on Sunday. On Saturday, I saw them propped up at quite a high angle on the tables. I don't know about area A, but over in B, we decided that the 2 stand-up signs we were given needed some friends, and therefore there were a few newborn signs on the table, created by myself and Kyle. Being newborns, they didn't have the ambulatory ability to stand up, and had to be left lying down until they matured.

The unofficial overtime on Friday night was pretty manic, but it was fun working with you all getting through that manic first couple of hours!

I guess they could always use vinyls to re-dress their TARDIS... -
So very true! Not that your mind can always remember this when all around you everyone is loved up! But it is the case, you are better off alone and happy in yourself than with someone who is constantly trying to change you - I speak from experience there AGREED!

Jill is a genius can't wait. Yes, we love Jill, even if I did spend wayyy too much time chatting to her beautiful assistant.....

Hi all, Was just wondering, I know that SM had their own crew wandering about during set-up, and that we had a time-lapse camera set up filming set-up, but where would I get to see the result? I was there for 4 days, and would love to see all our hard work, especially watching us put everything up in 1/1000th the time it actually took!

Hey, we aim to please, and usually hit the target! I have to admit, I was worrying that I'd given out more tickets than we'd be able to see, but we got there in the end!

I was the very, very busy crew member doling out virtual queue tickets for Christopher Lloyd on Saturday and Alex Kingston on Sunday. No idea how I survived...

And a BIG well done to mini Lara. Was nice to meet you and your dad after reading your posts for so long on here!!!

Actually a little disappointed I missed you this year, but was working too hard down the back end of the hall as Alex Kingston's VQ to see much of Sunday. -
Flattered, head size increasing, worrying about ability to fit my head through the door now..... Would this be Saturday or Sunday? We all get different jobs on different days you see.......

Glad it worked! Hope you had a great time! "The Lad" (Now rather chuffed to be called a lad, as I'm actually 31, and don't feel like one any more!)
