I read through the replies, but it was this snippet that caught my eye. My thoughts on how SM/ME run their organisation remain my thoughts. However, if you truly do think that you can add to their business, did you ever consider that coming onto their web forum and being a tad negative would not do your application any good? You mentioned about marketing, and your connections, but would you not consider your comments bad marketing for yourself? Being someone who helps people put together business proposals, might your time be better spent putting together a full and detailed proposal to present to Jason and his team? Just a thought.

Showmasters/Massive Events have both paid and unpaid workers. They run a tremendous amount of events, and in between are looking for and trying to book guests. I think a website not being updated straight away is no big thing. There is a link to the forum you are on now, and most people would click that at some time. It is far easier and quicker to post a subject announcing a guest than updating a website. Showmasters are fans running events to break even, so employing too many people is not a viable good business proposition. Also, they have been doing this gig for some time now and I am sure they know what to do to attain interest.

The problem is, Blackpool played well with or without him. They just tailed off the latter part of the season. The money they will lose being in the Championship, and I penciled them in as Championship bound by New Year, could have been offset by taking the higher amount then rather than recently. Sometimes it is a case of not gambling. Charlie wanted out, and even though he was a loyal employee, his heart wasn't in it.

The combined age is currently 109. On AUgust 11th it becomes 110 years and in March 111 years. But, if they face off at Bound For Glory it will be the princely combined age of 110. And if Earl Hebner refs the match, it will be a combined age of 172!!!

Sad to see such a wonderful talent wasted by someone's demons. It is sad to say that it does not shock me she had died.

Austin Aries may bring in the RoH fans as he has a huge following there. When he left RoH and went to NWA Hollywood, the viewership and attendance soared. Vince is a PR man. If he is seen helping Jeff, then it would feed his ego. Matt is the "cancer" as he tried to live off of his brother's in ring talents. Something he does not have. I expect Jack Evans to be signed full time, and Low Ki to mix Impact Wrestling with other commitments he has.

Apparently, as soon as the court case is done, TNA are done with Jeff. It all depends on the court case outcome. Vince is allegedly keeping tabs as well.

Charlie Adam completes signing for Liverpool. £6.75 Million upfront rising to £8.5 million with ad ons if reached. Blackpool were offered £9 million up front in January...mugs!! Roll on August 13th.

Nothing outrageous suggested Count, but rather wonderment of how many times I have seen the same question and the same answer. And this is on all events that it happens. Nothing bad, but it amazes me that the question is asked witht he hope of an answer. What happens if it falls through? Let me think...people moaning about potential guest A not signing. Megan Fox was hot several years back, but I personally feel she has changed alot in her appearance. The new love interest for Shia did what she had to do in the way I can only assume they wanted her to.

As per the usual reply...guests will be announced when they have been signed to a contract to appear. Until then, no indication of potential guests is given, but Showmasters do try right up to the event to get guests.

Rob, go watch the film. Go in thinking it is going to be how you think it is going to be as I feel that is what they want you to do. Trust me on this...you will be blown away. By "marking out" means that I was like a child reborn from when I watched the cartoon as a kid etc. I love Transformers. Bay has been quotd as saying that this would be the last...but who knows? There is a reaosn for this that you will see within the first bit of the film. Watch it intently and it will pan out. I will not say anymore as it will lurch into spoilers.

I love The Blues Brothers, and I whole heartedly agree that Blues Brothers 2000 is not a patch on the original. But this film was made as a homage to John Belushi, Cab Calloway and John Candy. The music was superb and the end jam was mind blowing. I can listen to this music all day long.
