  1. I know it's highly unlikely, but I would pay obscene amounts of money to meet any of the cast of Community.
  2. Just got back from seeing it for a second time. I honestly can't recommend it enough! It's just perfect in every way. I haven't laughed like that at the cinema in a long time! Bradley Whitford and Richard Jenkins are comedy gold! I really hope Whedon decides to use them again in something.
  3. Brent Spiner Robert Picardo John de Lancie Also that Romulan who says "It's a faaaaaake!"
  4. I am so psyched for this movie! Plus we've got the Avengers coming out less than a month later and the prospect of a Dr. Horrible sequel later this year. 2012 is a good year to be a Joss Whedon fan.
  5. Enver would be brilliant, and yes he is in the Avengers trailer, for about 2 seconds. It looks like he's playing a cop. And the only reason I'd know that is because I dissected every single millisecond of that trailer.
  6. FOX had almost complete control over the first five episodes, hence the suckiness. It wasn't up until episode 6 that Whedon was given free reign to unleash his genius upon the show, so it's not surprising you found Man on the Street to be the first great episode. Of course by then the damage had been done and the viewing figures were pretty atrocious. I'm just glad they got a second season 'cause it was really touch-and-go for a while. But I'm glad you're enjoying it! It may be, in my opinion, Joss' weakest show of the main four but it's still leagues ahead of most of the stuff on TV at the moment.
  7. The Cabin in the Woods trailer came out yesterday if anyone's interested. It looks freakin' sweet!
  8. People didn't like Kennedy? I never knew that. She was probably my favourite potential. Why was she unpopular? Is it as simple as the fact that she wasn't Tara, or was it something else? I'm not sure. I think it's kind of that she was so different to Tara, yeah. Also, I think I've heard people say she was too forward and just assumed Willow would feel the same way etc. Some people don't think she's the type of person Willow would fall for either. Each to their own though. I think the problem with Kennedy is that the writers tried to make her different from Tara, but in the process made her a little too different. She just didn't seem like an organic fit for Willow, which is just lazy writing on the writers part. To be honest most of season 7 suffers from lazy writing.
  9. This. Also, awesome guest announcement. Way to get me excited for this event over 8 months in advance!
  10. I'm reading Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell, again at the moment. It's so depressing but I keep coming back to it. Oh and is anyone else looking forward to Joss' adaptation of Much Ado as much as I am?
  11. It's so hard to choose! Can't we just have them all? I mean they just interact so well together. I don't think I've ever seen a cast get that close with such a short run on tv. But if I've gotta choose, I'd pick Nathan, Summer and Christina.
  12. Personally, I consider them just as much a part of the Whedonverse as David Fury or Marti Noxon, and would love to see them as guests together. They both contributed heavily to the creation of Doctor Horrible and Dollhouse. Plus they're the most adorable married couple ever. I mean guys, they created this; ( )What more do you want?
  13. Bruce Campbell. Just had an Evil Dead marathon and remembered how much I love him and those movies.
  14. Game of Thrones cast! But mostly Emilia Clarke.
  15. Couldn't have put it better myself. It would have been a bonus to see Patrick Stewart there, as the two of them always seem to prank each other at events like these.
  16. Brent Spiner, for me, was the absolute stand out guests of the entire show for me. He was a very approachable guy, got talking to him when I went up for an auto and then he remembered my name in the talk. Speaking of his talk, I don't I've laughed that much in a long time. He was simply hilarious and you could tell he really enjoys meeting the fans at conventions. Oh and I've got to give props to Karen Gillan. I don't know how she did all that and still kept a smile on her face. I was one of the last to go up for a photo and she was still nice enough to ask how I was. Honestly if that was me, I would have needed a stiff drink by the end of the day.
  17. Patrick Stewart! David Hewlett. Sigourney Weaver. (I wish!) Tricia Helfer. Pegg and Frost. Or failing that, pretty much anyone from Firefly.
  18. Eh, actually I thought Lies My Parents Told Me, was just a rehash of Fool For Love, only not done as well. Plus the way Buffy treats Giles in that episode is just wrong. /rant. Anyway, my top 5. 1. Hush 2. The Body 3. Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered 4. Earshot 5. Band Candy
  19. It's been awesome so far! I'm really digging the hell out of it. If any one of the cast got announced, I wouldn't be anything less than ecstatic.
  20. I did watch it and yes I did think it seemed like a Firefly prequel. Albeit a poorly written and humourless Firefly prequel.
  21. I don't blame him really. The whole campaign started out well, but it's started to look a little shady as of late.
  22. Link removed by QS - goes to a not safe for kids page - Try http://dft.ba/-firefly I'm just gonna leave this here.
