Awesome sketch! We were discussing artwork on a topic I made yesterday re convention sketchbooks (http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=84994) though no-one posted anything this cool

Any chance we could get some Wizards of the Coast people over now that Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition has just been released? I'd love to meet Chris Perkins and it'd be great to get a play test of the new edition in the gaming zone :)

Talking of artists, has anyone ever commissioned anything from Guillermo Ortego? Would love to get a Shatterstar sketch from him next weekend :)

No worries, it's maybe worth Googling any artists you like in particular as they often have FAQ pages which might show how much they charge (or at least give you a rough idea!)

I'd really, really like artist/illustrator Kevin Wada to attend (http://kevinwada.com/), he draws some amazing Marvel stuff and I'd love him to come to the UK so I could get a sketch or two from him :)

This is a really hard thing to estimate, because it all depends on how famous the artist is, what size you want, if you want it in colour, black and white etc. *Usually* I'd say you would expect to pay about £10-£30 for a fairly detailed inked piece from a non-super-famous artist, but like I said, it's a really hard thing to estimate without knowing more info haha.

Yeah, I've always found this to be the case :) They're pretty flexible.

Michelle Phan did a really cool Dany makeup tutorial :3 Just looked it up on YT and it is super helpful-thanks for the tip! No problem! I'd love to see the result in person I'll be wandering around all of Saturday (most likely getting excited about Pedro Pascal and buying more comics than I can carry) though it would be cool to have a dedicated meetup I'm not sure if there's a Thrones one going on...last year we all just kinda found each other haha.

Ordered my tickets back in January and they each say £15 on them.

It all depends on the artist, but I don't see why not! Most are happy to do whatever (within reason).

Do any of you keep a con sketchbook for getting sketches in? I'd never really thought of the idea until a friend told me about it yesterday-apparently it's pretty common in the US and was wondering if anyone over here does it? Definitely bringing a sketchbook to LFCC this year to get some sketches done! (There's always some amazing artists in the Artists' Alley!)

My costumes are pretty much completely finished now...just need to sort out my makeup for Daenerys (and learn how to cover tattoos with makeup!) and I'll be done! :)

Can we see? I'm getting one in August, a large arm piece of a lion face which will be related to the Lannisters in certain aspects I can't wait! That's so cool! I'm getting an Oberyn piece next month. (Would've liked it earlier to show to Pedro but meh, I'm sure he'll be back one day!)

This is my fourth LFCC and it's definitely going to be my busiest!

Of course the *one* photo I'm getting is at half nine haha...was hoping I could have a bit of an extra snooze, but oh well! Just hope that I get in on time now!

I'm glad to see other people collect POP figures! Gotta try and get my hands on that Stan, he's so cute!

There'll be lots on the Sunday too! I personally know three people doing Thrones costumes on the Sunday hehe :')

I'll be there as Daenerys too! (Only on the Saturday ) Bring water, snacks (cereal/fruit bars are awesome and easy to carry) and I'd also recommend bringing some "normal" clothes to change into should anything happen/you get sick of your costume by the end of the day :')
