  1. I have hardly ever posted on here, but this weekend I met Amanda Tapping and I have to say, in my opinion, she was as near perfect as you can get, friendly, chatty, didn't rush you through when signing, had photo with the Sanctuary backdrop (still think I looked terrified in the photo) and she was very accommodating to everyone. An excellent guest and another great event.
  2. Totally agree, crew were excellent as always, especially the young girl on the Burn Gorman queue on Sunday afternoon. very friendly and helpful. Well done to you all.
  3. Would sports presenters be acceptable, if so I wouldn't mind a photo with Suzi Perry. Sticking with the biking theme, Valentino Rossi, although perhaps impractibable, would be amazing. On the other hand James Toseland, being British, may be more available.
  4. Is that what it was, I'm just outside Leeds and we've got some high winds at the moment, thought something like the chimney had fallen off the roof, got the old ticker going.
  5. Has to be Grace Park, she was so cheerful and friendly and 'innocently' sexy.
  6. Gianfranco Zola - Cagliari - Cristiano Zanetti
  7. I had both experiences, having a photoshoot on Saturday with Charisma and on Sunday with Grace. The Saturday shoot was not so much the queueing, you have surely got to expect that with the number of people wanting a photo, but the waiting for the photos to come back. By about 7.00pm I gave up waiting happy in the knowledge I was back on the Sunday, but I can understand the frustration for those who were not coming back and the worry that they would receive the right photo. However I would say that the crew, and Too Tall especially, did a marvellous job of keeping cool and trying to appease people as best they could since there were some seriously unpleasant comments being thrown about when it got to that time. Hindsight is a wondeful thing and the best laid plans don't always go right etc., I think the important point is that showmasters have learnt from this experience and when I had my shoot with Grace on Sunday, it appeared to be the case as the photos were back within two half hours and from what I saw the others were coming back as quickly. As to the photograph, I was held back for a second photo with Grace (another twenty seconds of cuddling her, I didn't complain). When I got the photos back at first galnce they both looked great, it took a much closer inspection to realise that on the first one my mouth was a little open and didn't look quite right. My point is that, in my naivity at taking photos, for the photographer to spot that in the few seconds he took to check the image must speak of proffesionalism and concern that the photos were as good as they could be, my photos were excellent. Overall I had an excellent weekend and am looking forward to CM12 already.
  8. I sympathise with the last two posts. I was ticket number 265 and got to see her at about 4.30 today, having stood around for well over an hour. Having said that she was more than worth the wait, perhaps the most pleasant, friendly and good looking guest I've met in the 4 shows I have been to. She's also a damn good actress as she convinced me she remembered me from the day before and the photo shoot. Does anyone know if she has an official website?
  9. Coming from Cleckheaton. Coming down Friday and back up on Sunday, unless Grace isn't signing till Monday then I'll have to get my sleeping bag out on the park bench, hope its a nice night.
