Thankyouuuu everyone. I had a lovely day on Saturday, helped along by the 25 degree weather. Aussie winter is a beautiful thing.

I was Zach's assistant on Sunday, and he was an amazing guest. For someone who was signing for the whole 4 days (which can get hard if you're not very busy), he did it with so much enthusiasm and was always incredibly thankful and polite to everyone who came to visit him. He also has some great stories, and I automatically loved him anyway because he is from my favourite place in the world, Manhattan! Very nice guest, Showmasters (and David, his lovely booker/agent dude!)

She was talking to me about it later on (I had been giving out VQ tickets and queue pushing for Peter Davison), and apparently Peter said to her afterwards "I'm just glad I wasnt sitting any closer to you!". Poor Kate But she managed to get most of it off anyway.

I'm glad the Princess and I decided to come along for the night, it was a lot of fun. Apologies to everyone who had to suffer through my rendition of Eternal Flame. I was drunk and even I knew it was bloody terrible! Also, sorry to anyone (probably everyone?) I spilt my drinks on.

When there's Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp involved, it is definitely an early morning jobby, sorry to say! I know that from experience at the last two. Thankfully, all the cast are good signers so even if you're not terribly close to the cinema, a decent position on the barrier SHOULD get you something.

Shabs copes by bugging everyone to go out for coffee with him every night for at least a couple of weeks afterwards. I tend to follow on with the over consumption of junk-food for at least a week after the show. I gain 5 pounds but it seems to numb the pain!

Hey you, hope you had a good one yesterday. Sorry I didn't come out yesterday to celebrate, I needed some rest after my 4:30am start on Sunday to go pick mum up from the airport. Will def see you on Sunday though (or tonight if you're out).

I feel bad for the person who wasted way too much time in Google images compiling that video. I think that emo, along with punk, goth and many other so-called 'genres', has become so generalized since it's origin that it doesn't really mean anything anymore, which is a shame. I went through my 'emo' phase 5 or 6 years ago; cut my hair off, dyed it and listened to Dashboard Confessional and the Get Up Kids incessantly for a couple of months whilst wearing a pair of black, thick rimmed glasses and trying to be the female version of Rivers Cuomo. Then I did my research, and realised that I was making a mockery of myself by getting carried away with the way the media and whiney post-punk bands were re-branding the word 'emo' to mean something completely different from it's original roots. Then I got into a couple of the 'original' politically-geared emo bands (though even that's probably debatable by real hard core emo fans) like Moss Icon and Rites of Spring, and got over my little 'geekcore' phase. Anyway, all I really wanted to say is that it's a natural progession for meanings to change with time, as with genres. It's probably just been for the worse in the case of emo, because it's really lost all it's identity, as is demonstrated by you referring to it as something involving goth and Tony & Guy haircuts (probably not two things on the mind of the person who first penned the term!). Yup, that's my rant over. (I get slightly passionate about music.. )

This is very fitting for this thread I think... it's something that Big_Pants, gerrysgirl, jeboz, roxy, myself and a few other non-forumers have spent years trying to bash out of Shabs. We've had quite a bit of success, but sometimes when a camera is whipped out and pointed at him, it still sneaks it's way out of him. So please, think of the children, and help it stop! If you ever see this man with THAT face on, give him a good telling off, please! P.S. I am bored and poor, so I have nothing better to do with my time today than create naff graphics.

I have already expressed my love for the Raf & banana photo, and all the connotations that go along with it and his shirt, but I will do it once more. LOVE IT! That's all.
