  1. Zac Efron at a Whedon con?! No thank you!!
  2. I was a bit disappointed to be honest. I thought it was cast well and some of the scenes were done well (my favourite scene was the baseball game, my fave bit in the book) but it drew attention to how unoriginal the story is. It's all been done before and done better in Buffy, and my boyfriend said there was a definite Lost Boys moment in it (not a good one!) It just didn't keep my attention. And the Cullens had hardly any lines which was really disappointing. They really rushed the ending. Oh and I'm not saying this just to **** people off. I like Twilight, I thought the book was quite sweet and it's a nice easy read. But there are soooo many more good vampire novels out there that have been overlooked. For me the movie was just a bit toooo cheesey. And didn't think much of the script. Also it didn't help that the cinema was full of young teenage girls squealing every time Robert/Edward was on screen. And the row of girls behind us would not stop talking throughout the whoooole film. It was so annoying.
  3. I bought 2 tickets this time, because I wanted to make sure I had at least one good one and I got a bit of a cuddle! I'm glad I did because one of my pictures is awful! However I do think having 4/5 is a bit ridiculous. There are only so many poses he can do!!
  4. I got my photos yesterday, so at least the £2 postage meant it didn't take two weeks to arrive. But usually they say it can be up to 2 weeks, so hopefully you will get yours some time next week.
  5. The only slight 'complaint' which I have commented on in the photo ticket thread is the fact that we had to pay £2 for having our photos posted. Seeing as this has never happened before and wasn't made clear before hand I was a bit shocked when my mum said she had to pay for it. I physically cannot stay to wait for the photos to be printed because I'd probably pass out and that'd be no fun for anyone ;-) Anyway, other than that as I only stayed for about an hour I don't think there was anything else wrong!!
  6. So is showmasters going to comment on the £2 we had to pay postage? It seems a bit ridiculous really.
  7. Just a quick question regarding the photos.. Did anyone leave their details and have to pay £2 for postage? I thought this was a bit off as I literally only came to have my photo with James and meet him as I'm not well enough to stay. Seeing as we've already paid £17 or so for the ticket, I would've thought it would be included. I've never had to pay before to get it posted.
  8. What did they do? (I was working in the photoshoot area today, can probably name them for you.) They took me through to James as I can't stand for hours because of my M.E. It meant that I only ended up with a migraine in the evening rather than not being able to walk today!! Not everyone understands so I really appreciated their help. I think she was a pit boss :-)
  9. Thank you very much to the steward who helped me out at the photo session (sorry I don't know your name!!) I had a great time and it was lovely getting the chance to meet James. And all was very smooth so only have a headache and bit of a back/leg ache now!
  10. peeka, When you get there on Sunday ask any of the Pit Bosses (the guys in red shirts) to talk to me. They will know me as Too Tall but if you feel silly for asking for Too Tall, you can ask for tall Stuart the head of crew. If they ask why, just say I know about it. If I'm busy it may take me 5 minutes to get to you, or I may have to ask you to come to me, but don't worry, I will sort it out for you. Stuart. Thanks a lot Stuart! I really appreciate you responding. :-)
  11. See this is the problem, my disability is not 'visible' apart from the fact that I can't walk properly. I have M.E and am unable to go out for long periods of time but the one thing I do enjoy doing is going to cons so I don't want to miss out just because of this stupid ilness!! I don't use crutches because my arms aren't strong enough and I don't feel I should have to use a wheelchair just for people to believe me. Thanks for the advice though. I will talk to the people at the line. Last time James was there I ended up getting such a high VT number that I couldn't stay and didn't get his autograph. I just hope that doesn't happen again.
  12. Oh no, heroes guests and Patrick Stewart... I sense I repetition of last year!! ;-) On the plus side, great guest!
  13. I have a question. I am only going on the Sunday for James' photo shoot and to get an autograph. I have a disability which means I cannot stand for a long time and I can't stay at the event for very long. If I were to get a photo and then go to the autograph queue do I have to get a virtual queue ticket and then wait for hours or will I be able to just go on the end of the queue. At London Film and Comic Con (that dreaded weekend!!) I got very ill afterwards because some of the stewards wouldn't let me go straight to the queue and they wouldn't even let my boyfriend get me a virtual queue ticket. I don't want to miss out on getting James' autograph purely because of my disability. Any help would be much appreciated!!
  14. Lol, glad I didn't book a photo shoot for him yesterday then!
  15. I don't post as much these days as don't have time. But I will keep going to cons (providing I have time/money) as long as there are guests that interest me :-)
  16. Oh my god! I wasn't going to go to this one but now I may have to change my mind!
  17. Pleeease, not Hayden, Adrian, Milo and Patrick Stewart together ;-)
  18. It would be great to have some of the Buffy comic artists. I have loads I'd want them to sign!
  19. New buffy/angel guests would be great. Plus Mark Lutz, cos he's always lovely!
