  1. From the FAQ section of his website: Q) You no longer sign any Back To The Future memorabilia. Is that true? T) Yes, that's true. Q) And why is that? T) I've decided to do what I want to do in life, and follow my own path as an artist, so I've decided not to participate in any sort of nostalgia in which I'm marginalized as a pop icon of yesteryear. I no longer support in any way an insurmountable archetype, and now exclusively pursue the things that interest me.
  2. Michael J Fox but without the cost of a photoshoot included in his autograph price (he's only £225 at his U.S. signing)
  3. I would like to finish off some projects that Showmasters have helped me start over the years, so guests like Henry Thomas (to finish E.T.), Paul Reiser (for Aliens), Phoebe Cates (for Gremlins), Gina Torres (Firefly), etc.
  4. She signed "Stella Gremlin" on the Back to the Future poster of the guy in front of me, whilst ironically telling him how she'd signed the wrong name on someone's poster earlier :) She amended it to "Stella (Gremlins) Baines"!
  5. Just out of interest when do the guests sign for you? I always imagined them sat back at their hotel room with a glass of wine in hand :)
  6. Roy Scammell had a photo of Eddie Powell as one of his table photos (I sure hope he didn't sign any!)
  7. Everyone I met was lovely, but the person with the best anecdotes was Andrew Probert (who discussed his time working in Steven Spielberg's office and meeting Sophia Loren one day at his desk)
  8. It's always nice to see Kenny and I'm sure that once the Force Awakens posters start circulating there will be plenty of people wanting him to sign them :)
  9. Did anybody manage to get her that didn't have a diamond or gold pass?
  10. Out of interest, did Michael personalize or add his character name?
  11. I appreciate that comic guests usually charge for sketches but does anybody know what writers/creators like John usually charge for an autograph? I can't imagine that it's free.
  12. I would like to see the introduction of diamond-like premium/VIP ticket that was just for autographs. I'd happily pay extra for the peace of mind of knowing that I will get my autograph/s on the day, but don't want a photo opportunity or additional memorabilia that I'm unlikely to keep. I appreciate that gold passes are available (and have bought them in the past) but we are yet to see how advantageous they are going to be when diamond passes are in operation.
  13. Please try to get Norman Reynolds and Michael Ford, who both made a significant contribution to Empire (and others) - I would love to meet them.
  14. If you ever watch the Q&A of the Aliens cast reunion a couple of years ago you'll see/hear that he is considered to be one of the core team by the other cast members and I would (and have) added him to my cast piece - you may regret it later. It's strange that you don't have similar thoughts on Cynthia Scott whose part (and number of lines) was of a similar size.
  15. You should pick up the Alien Archive book and gradually add to it from show to show.
  16. She's the last Nostromo crew member that I need in my Alien Screenplay book (quite fitting), so I will get her in that (hopefully) and one of only four that I need to complete my Aliens Screenplay book (Colette Hiller, Paul Reiser and Cynthia Scott being the others - hint, hint). If there was a credit card machine at her desk there would no doubt be a few more being purchased
  17. After tonight's announcement, surely Paul Reiser :)
  18. As well as a tube, I also roll mine with a larger piece of brown or craft paper, this prevents any edge wear or bumps. The other thing to be mindful of is whether the guest has a drink on their table, just be careful not to knock it (it sounds silly, I know, but many drink from paper cups or open cans)
  19. Will gold/diamond passes be punched/marked once used to prevent the holder from just joining the back of the queue again as with Stan Lee last year?
