  1. Oh, I know that Girlfriend and co will be attending for most of the day.
  2. This guy is on my "meet before I or they die" list. I gotta get his auto..
  3. Hi folks, Who from the UKG will be going to CM this year? Will you have a Darth? My girlfriend's 9 year old is utterly Darth Vader mad and I was wondering if you could arrange for some troopers to "arrest" him and take him to Darth. Give him the full works on interrogation, etc. He'd play a long too, he's so into it. If there is no Darth, then an interrogation from some troopers would suffice! I'll be there with Scape and them UKCM crew as usual. Looking forward to it.
  4. I'm realy good friends with Steve and Andy from Warp One. (Not trying to feed my own ego here, just saying it how it is) I've recently been talking to then as I noticed a month back their Website was down. There is good reason but I'm not allowed to say. I could be up for a Cos Play Group in and around Edinburgh. I have a Warp-One TNG top, Voyager top, First contact and I'm currently getting a First Contact top tailor made for me. I also have USCM BDUs from Aliens and a full 1985 British Army Soldier load out
  5. Might just go and get this man's scribble. McCoy was the Doctor who I remember most about, he's tenure was during my most impressionable years. (7 to 9).
  6. Agreed. Cosplay might mean something to us here on the forum. But the punter at the door might not get it.
  7. I think a party labelled official with prizes up for grabs and advertised with CM would be the best policy. Food, drink, music and prizes will ensure plenty costumes.
  8. Patrick Stewart is the person who hold the number one spot on the list of people I would love to meet, that's my suggestion. Jeffrey Combs would be an interesting person to listen to in a guest talk. That man was prolific on the Star Trek scene.
  9. the pleasure was all mine. And your costume was definately better than mine :)
  10. Wahey... a pic of me! That made my evening ladies :) not there for more than 10 seconds and I get asked for a photo by two lurrrrrvely ladies :)
  11. No pins? Thats just not right, especially for a captains dress uniform Though if you need a Gen era pin, I have one spare. I just finished my SKR uniform (militarised version of the AGT uniform) yesterday - need to tighten the collar up and tidy up one or two loose threads... if I had the pins I need to complete it, I'd be wearing it as it looks fantastic - though very obviously home made I have all the pins I need, just not sure about wearing them thats all :)
  12. No sure if it has been mentioned But the Metro Newspaper has had a full page Ad for CM all this week and I think I spotted on last week too.
  13. This is what I plan to wear at the Saturday night party. Excuse the crudity of the picture.. I'm at work and have only MS paint to work with. Plain white T-shirt with an obvious waist coat and plain black trousers, or perhaps black trousers with a red inverted V split at the front on the legs. No insignia. Just Plain. God I'm a geek, and definately do not have that figure!
  14. Robert Picardo and Casey Biggs are my two main targets for autographs this time round.
  15. You're forgetting, I now have a set of BDU's too.
  16. I say do it Seconded, thirded, forthed and fifthed. That means if I see you not wearing a Voyager uniform then you're in trouble, young man. Fair enough. Look for a command red uniform hanging around a bunch of colonial marine folks.
  17. Seeing Robert Picardo on the guest list has given me idea of wearing a ST Voyager costume.... but I'm not sure how nerdy that will look!
  18. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA......................... You're Majesty!
  19. Play Star Trekkin' and I might even get up and dance!
