I hear you on that Angie. I'm hoping I have enough by the end of the month or about mid July to definately be able to get tickets. If I do this will be the latest I've had to wait to get tickets for an event. Hope you can come too sweetie. I'm getting really tempted too.... I decided that if i can get someone to share a room with then i'll go if not then i really can't afford it I have a room booked but waiting for guest accouncements before I buy a ticket. So I will need a roomie. well i am definitely interested :)

I looked at the Ibis and it would be £60 a night which is still pretty steap so i would need to share still... i just worry that with how close it is theres not going to be anyone left looking to share i spose its good im not buying a ticket till its sorted then lol... would i just make a thread then?? oddly i've never made a thread before =/ lol One of my friends is thinking of coming to the convention and as I've already booked a room at the Ibis with another friend and we cant fit her in so maybe you 2 could share? saves you's both some money... Hi so i found out i dont have to pay rent till september so i have more money than i thought and am very tempted to go to this.... buuut even with more money than i thought i couldnt a afford a hotel room to myself.... so any advice on how to get this thing cheaper lol.... or anyone want to share a room somewhere... im not going to even think about buying tickets or anything till i can get this cheaper =/

Im with Talie here... The books are badly written and Melissa Rosenberg can't write a script. Yet i'm still unashamedly hooked =/ But i think for me a big reason why Twilight has stuck with me and I've stayed in the fandom is because of the rest of the people in the fandom. Like friends i've made on message boards, freinds ive made through reading fic, friends i've made at conventions THEY are what makes Twilight the most fun for me. I think if everyone is the fandom was horrible i would of flouced a while back and maybe just of been a casual fan... nut with my fan fic addiction and the amazing freinds i've made is whats kept me.... not the quality of the books or films... My other theory is an odd one. You remember how once you popped a packet of pringles you couldn't stop? Well my theory is that they took whatever ingrediant it was that did that and lined the lages of all the books with it... so once we started reading we couldnt stop and we then go on to get our fix from as many places as we can find.... this i believe is the reason why Pringles just aren't the same anymore... i cant stop way too easily now =s

I finished it yesterday... I'm just going to copy and paste what i said over on the twilight bit in books and tv but take out the spoilers Ok errrm don't kill me! I didn't like it. The ideas there were good ideads i.e. *spoiler stuff*. But what could of been an amazing book full of angst and action scenes felt dull. I went in expecting to read about blood thirsty scarey new born vampires... not *spoiler stuff*. The vampire battle had the potential to be epic... so what does Smeyer do? *spoiler stuff* It's almost as big a cop out as breaking dawn in that sense. *there was a pretty GIANT chunk of spoiler stuff here lol* It annoys me because i actually defended the idea of the Bree book before i read it because most people were annoyed about how small a character she is... The ideaa of a book fromma new born's point of veiw had the potential to be amazing and she had so much freedom to make stuff but she just didn't deliver in my opinion. I also agree with what some news paper said in a review... that Bree is basically Bella all over again. Her personality is the same, they enjoy the same things... she is simply a 15 year old version of Bella... and considering Bella is basically Smeyer... it's just like shes gone and done it allll over again *sigh* Again please don't kill me! lol It's just that I was honestly really disapointed =/ I know hundred of fanfic authors that could of written the book better to be honest. I wouldn't be suprised if someone has already started work on one lol... seeing as so many people did better versions of breaking dawn aswell lol but yeah.... my whole rant is on the twilight saga board =/

i read mainly AH aswell :) but i use ff.net just because it's easier lol.. also most the fics ive read on twilighted tend to be a few chapters ahead on ff.net because they don't have to go through the validation process :) However i have aadmit its a nice feeling when your fics get accepted on there... i only have 2 oneshots on there but its a nice feeling still lol My fave fic is The Best Man by Bratty-vamp... most of it was so sweet and fun and flirty and so well written but then tht ending killed me! i cried like a freaking baby!
