yeah i saw airbender at the cinema.... i kinda got bored... i only paid attention when jackson was on screen... then i paid alot of attention ... the £D gave me a head ache aswell, seriously not every film needs to be in 3D these days *le sigh*

i had a great time and loved how smoothly everything seemed to run this time. The only down side i had this time was the amount of friends that were missing that i'd made at the past cons, nothing to do with showmasters but yeah, just wasn't the same without some of those guys. I also figured with the recording, i know chances are SM won't do the dvd again but have they ever though about choosing small highlights to post in a video on youtube? they could even use it as a way of advertising. People might stumble across a video on there and think it looks like fun and make the choice to come to another. And if SM posted the videos themselves they would have complete control over what parts were shown and it would make it less likely for people to do that sneaky recording it themselves thing. also maybe some variety in the music across the 3 nights might be a good idea. I've been to 3 ETs now and all 9 parties seemed to have the exact same playlist with just a few new releases added in, but not that many....

ET3 was my first can so i haven't met him and im so freaking excited :) i've had a crush on the guy since wendy wu! lmao he was one of the reasons i watched twilight in the first place lol so deffo excited

It's ok, the Hilton was still a bit too expensive even with the con rate...I didn't want to travel back home on the Sunday anyway (I'm going back on Monday) and it's too late to cancel the other one. Thanks anyway :) if you're travling from brum town center each day (thats the impression im getting from what you've said on facebook) then it might actually still be cheaper to look into a hilton room at con rate especially if you're getting a taxi back each night, that's £20 a night and the train there in the morning would be probably about £3-4 so yeah i dont know how much cheaper the room you have now is though... just it might be a good idea to take into account the travel costs :)

okay messaged my friend, the vouchers for her dominoes run out Saturday so they're no good, but she did say if you all order together and make one really big order they might give you a discount. Her branch is the one that would deliver to the Hilton. So yeah if people want that pizza it could be worth asking around and seeing how many of you you can squeeze into the one order :)

i cant afford dominoes but i'll message my friend and see if she has any of those booklets with the vouchers for like buy one get one free and shiz... i have a whole bunch but they're for the wolverhampton store, so yeah i'll message her and ask if they have them in her branch and see if she can bring them when i see her sunday :) then i can give you guys some at the con :)

i really do think we will get the guests, it's just a little hard right now but i think SM can do it, maybe they're waiting to see if summit give one or 2 the go ahead with how long they're going to be doing that bit of filming they're doing now if that makes sense... or that's what i'm trying to tell myself anyway However if people want to moan let them. They have very right, my brain went off on a weird tangent in search of a metaphor and i came up with this: What about if you brought a packet of 6 bars of really awesome snickers or whatever chocolate you like, or maybe even cake bars or sausage rolls, whatever, but you buy a pack of 6 what happens when you get home and find you only have 4? Yes those might be the most amazing snickers, chocolate, cake, sausage rolls in the world, but you were told there was 6.... would you inform the company you got your treats from and hope they rectify their mistake asap? yes, yes you would. As much fun as we have at these conventions and we do have a lot of fun, SM/ME is still a business and they need accept when people aren't happy and do all they can to make sure the costumer is given what they paid for.... like i'm sure they are.... but yeah maybe my metaphor put it in perspective or it just confused you and made you hungry but meh lol

Probably because they were rather revved up by being told that the next guest would be announced "soon", 13 days ago. "the next guest for Eternal Twilight 5 will be going up soon". Not "hope to announce", "aiming to", "planning to", "subject to...." - a simple "will be". I can understand the excitement of the organisers as plans take shape, and wanting to communicate that to the attendees and potential attendees (who can be quite a demanding crowd!), but they really need to be more careful what they write; too often they leave themselves no "wiggle room" and end up with their previous statements doing them no favours. i think that's what the problem here is... it was the thread with the word soon, if the thread hadn't been posted nearly 2 weeks ago people wouldn't be all in a tizzy now, we would probably still have the odd comment here and there but once they said soon people started getting all excited then when a week went past people have gotten frustrated and now it's nearly 2 weeks and people are confused and genuinely worried. I think SM would of been better off just waiting till they had their definite yes so they wouldn't be stuck nearly 2 weeks later with everyone panicking and getting a little tense with each other.

I am really excited for ET5 and so far the guests are awesome. But these tickets are expensive and some people have to save harder and make more sacrifices to be able to come and they are allowed to be unhappy. Once they get there it's true they'll probably forget why they were upset in the first place but right now they have every right to be upset as we do have the right to be happy. I wasn't happy in the run up to ET4 even though the guests turned out to be amazing, i'm not a wolf fan so i was upset by the lack of the vamps. Yes the guests were funny as hell and kind an stuff and it was well worth the price in the end but I didn't know that till i was there and people telling me to cheer up because it wasn't about the guests got kind of annoying. When you're there it does stop being about the guests and the best memories you take from the cons do tend to be the friends you made and the fun you had, but in the run up it's the guests i get excited about. Like right now I'm so damn excited about Mike... like you don't even know. And so far out of ET 3 and 4; 3 was my fave which is likely to be because of the guests because seriously... jamie was amazing. So the guests do have an impact really. And it is the guests that bring in first time buyers, it's what got me to ET3. People that haven't been don't know how much fun the parties are or how amazing the friend they make there will be, they really just know that they'll meet some cast members and that's why they buy the ticket. Personally i'm really excited for the con and i don't doubt SM will give us some fun guests. But i can't help but have hopes of who i really wish it would be and i'm human i will be disappointed for maybe 5 mins if he's not announced but i will get over it. Just let people vent a little and maybe take into account what they say because they have spent the same amount of money as the happy people and their opinion is just as valid

i want Jackson........... also i think he should be a guest too
