I kept it. the bit where the autograph is, is semi ok but the whole poster is destroyed That might not be a bad idea - if he isn't personalising you might get some sympathy from him and he might be willing to do yours as a one-off. Oh well - fingers crossed for all of us that he will personalise - but I completely understand if he doesn't as at least he'll get through more people that way and as I fan I can appreciate that side of it. Hi, I have a few questions about James Marsters for this weekend: 1) Will he be doing personalisations (or will this be up to him on the day)? The reason I ask is that last time I met him he WASN'T and I would really like to get one autographed to me this time. 2) Is there going to be a limit to the number of items that can be signed? I've got a few different things that I would like signing - and figured I'd get them all while I had the chance - but if there's a limit per person I can make my decisions in advance. 3) Has a price been decided yet for the autographs? Hi, I am going on the Sunday when the centre opens later anyway - BUT I plan on arriving no later than 7... (I live about 1.5 hours away so not as far as you). I remember seeing what the queue starts to get like by 8.30 - I hate to think what it would be on the Saturday when the centre opens earlier! I would advise you to get there much earlier than 9.30 if there are specific people that you definitely want to see - you can always catch up on sleep when you get home later! Whatever you decide - best of luck and I hope you get the autos that you want. Chelle

My husband has been really getting into both of these shows (and I have started to as well now) - I think they would make great guests especially as I doubt they have done much over here... but I don't know what the popularity of the show is in the UK. Would definitely like to meet David James Elliott Chelle

i dont really watch buffy or angel but ill meet her if she does it for free I hope then that she IS charging for autographs - or we could end up with a lot of genuine fans missing out because of people who aren't bothered - but will get an autograph if she's doing it for free. Chelle

WOW! Thank you so much Showmasters! I have been dying to meet Charisma for so long. I too am at another con that weekend (and will be 8 months pregnant) but I will move heaven and earth to get across to this one too. Do we know yet if she is signing on both days? Thanks Chelle

By the way... I should point out that I have been down on either the Sunday or Monday for the last few events and the doors have not opened until 11! That's quite a difference from the 'doors open at 8.30 but the event opens at 10' on the website! But you do need to get there early as the queue is normally HUGE by the time the doors do open... Actually..... it is NOT an offer to sell, it is an invitation to treat and therefore they can refuse to sell to you if you do not have the right money/they do not have change, etc, etc. They are NOT legally obliged to sell to you just because you want them to! And you cannot expect them to have enough £5 notes or coins for every person that wants an autograph because this could require a potential float of £3,000 at the start of the day assuming 600 attendees all wanting one autograph and paying with a £20 note..... Not going to happen methinks! I have never heard of anyone NOT getting an autograph becuase they had run out of fivers on the day so I think that it must all work itself out anyway. If people are able to take fivers with them I am sure that is a big help though and the fact we are all discussing it means that we know how helpful it is if we take them along ourselves. Chelle

I voted 'Other' for Buffy/Angel guests. And Firefly would be good too. I know that's a bit greedy as we already have 3 great Buffy/Angel guests....... but would really LOVE to see some others there such as: Charisma Carpenter Any of the potential slayers from season 7 (maybe they would be a good idea as a group for a future event like they had the Trio previously) Tony Head (yes I know he's been before but having met him 5 times I still feel the need to see him again!!!) Marc Blucas Sarah Michelle Gellar (I know - never going to happen!) Alyson Hannigan (still dreaming I guess) Anyway - could go on and on with the list but you get the general idea!!! Chelle x

I have met Tony 5 times now - but would LOVE to meet him again. He's my favourite actor and Giles was my favourite character on Buffy (joint with Tara anyway). Plus - he's GORGEOUS!!! So Tony for any event you've got going please!!! Chelle x

Eliza would be a great guest - i have met her twice already and she was really nice (plus if she's there it might mean that the queues for certain other Buffy/Angel cast members might be smaller :-) ) Chelle

Kali Rocha James Marsters Alexis Denisof (If I'm back in time from London...) Luckily I have met James & Alexis before - but I could only get 1 autograph (due to restrictions by the organisers on one item each and no personalisations) when I met James last time so I am hoping to get my other book signed and a personalised 10x8 photo if he's doing them... What are the chances of getting Charisma Carpenter to do one of Showmasters events? I would really love to meet her (other than Sarah Michelle Gellar and Seth Green she is the only main cast member from Buffy and Angel I have left to meet). Would other people want to meet her too? I'm not sure how keen she is on doing conventions from what I have heard in the past - but maybe something like this would be ok? Anyway - I will keep my fingers crossed! What about Gina Torres? She would be a great Firefly person - but also appeal to the Angel fans and possibley the Matrix fans? I agree though - any Firefly person would be appreciated! Chelle
