I agree, it was exciting, good twists and unexpected bits, and great humour. Everything that made the series far too good to cancel!!! And Joss is one cool dude!

The village I have to agree with. But we didn't add it as we felt it was just nothing rather than actually being bad. Yes death to Jar Jar Binks. It's a shame GL obviously felt he had to add a comic element to attract the kids. But they really shouldn't let a sci-fi writer do comedy, it just wrong. Dude where's my car - If you're a 15 year old boy, I'm sure you think it's great. Apart from that, yes very bad indeed. So totally agree with these. The Village was like watching paint dry. Shylaman is such a one-hit wonder, Sixth Sense was brilliant, but the following films are all pants! As for Mr Binks, George really should've known better, or at least someone close to him should've got over their 'yes sir Mr Lucas sir' and told him the truth! Dude Where's My Car - just Why??? Like you say, done loads of times before, but unlike this one some of the earlier ones were actually funny!

Rather like the recent Descent, which was great as a claustrophobic thriller til Gollum's family turned up...

Not that we're taking this too seriously at all, TooTall and I have discussed at length and come up with our combined Top Ten... 1. The Patriot - The charmingly anti-English Mel Gibson disappears completely up his own butt by rewriting history in the most cliché-ridden film ever. 2. Battlefield Earth - And yet another overly famous actor gets ideas above his station! 3. Society - funny in a really bad way - starred that short bloke from Baywatch, Billy Warlock, about society sucking off the poor - literally, with straws!!! 4. Born Romantic - Oh dear god, romance movies are normally bad enough but death would've been a better alternative to this one. 5. Anything with Steven Segal - the man gets out-acted by scenery. 6. Cable Guy - Pointless 7. Jeepers Creepers - what were they thinking??? And they made a sequel!!! WHY??? 8. Jurassic Park 3 - How to destroy a successful franchise part 1 9. Speed 2: Cruise Control - how to destroy a successful franchise part 2. Hmmm. Or then again... 10. The Missing - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I've got a non-forum friend staying that weekend so I can try persuasion but I can't guarantee it!!! But I'll try!!! I've got to make one at some point!! The Friday of C8 should be alright at the very least, TT and I are off on hols on the Saturday but we'll hopefully make it on the Friday! We still have an air guitar competition to go for (actually that may be a good way of persuading my friend in August...)
