  1. Great event, thanks Showmasters! I think you did your best with the 'Facinelli case' and it was great to be able to do the 1st photoshoot early on sunday morning. Toooo bad we had to wait until 2pm to get those pictures back! Half of the advance taken by that early photoshoot was wasted by then... About getting the photos back, why not let the staff write down the names of the said photoshoots when they are available on a big poster ? That way, it would prevent people that are waiting for a specific photoshoot print to push the others to have a look at the table displays, only to find 'their' guest pictures are not there yet. Just writing down somewhere the names of the guests' pictures available at the table when opening the enveloppes would have saved a lot of stress and pushing and waiting for nothing. Obviously, it's impossible to keep the 2 hours pace. Michael Ironside was gone when I got my picture with him: it was 6 pm on saturday! And the photo was taken at 2.45 pm!! Facinelli 9.30 AM: getting the photo at 2.30 PM! And , like others, I like to have those photoshoots signed. I couldn't afford that with the twin Phelps photoshoot on Sunday because I knew by experience I'd be at the airport when the photos 'd be back. So I asked it to be sent. I really think the main thing is writing down as many stuff you can, as it's fast and updated information that people need to rely on. Write on a big screen the changings, all the different schedules, the available photoshoots that are printed etc...Maybe one or two people can do only that job: updating infos on the different boards asap... Write precisely the lines (I saw a poor woman who queued for 1 hour on saturday to buy a photoshoot only to get at the desk at last and beeing said that she had to do the other queue to pay with a credit card!! She was almost crying the poor thing) really: write, write, write :) And I'm not the only one to think you slightly underestimated the Phelps twins popularity And it's an understatement I guess... I personally have enjoyed myself the best I could! It was a great event and you guys are great, thanks!
  2. coucou Xtel!
  3. Here's a link to my autographs and to the rest of my pictures ...And no password or whatever to get to them!!!!! http://picasaweb.google.com/leana78 I took pictures of you too guys, while interactionning with the guests. Feel free to steal them if you see yourself on them. Or tell me if you wish me to delete some... That facebook stuff is really annoying: I'm not in and therefore I miss half of your pictures!
  4. you can go to my picasa album there: http://picasaweb.google.com/leana78/LFCC2009# The 1st ones are my autographs.
  5. I met Jimmy Jean-Louis and spoke with him in french for 10 minutes, as I knew he used to live in Paris. It was like talking to a friend , he knew the place I live very well too. I had to come back in the afternoon (forgot an auto for a friend!) and he immediately recognised us. Very chatty and nice guy, he was happy to speak french but was forgetting how to write it down it seems I met The 3 people from Red Dwarf and got them signing my french DVD. It was the 1st time they saw Red Dwarf in french. I was at last able to ask from where Craig Charles was as it's because of him only that I had to rebuy my Red Dwarf DVDs subtitled in french, I just can't understand one word from that guy! I mean I can understand Scottish accent now, but not Craig Charles! Very frustrating From Liverpool they told me... Mmmm? I used to listen a lot to the Beatles when younger and I always understood them during the interviews! This accent might have mutated through time? They were all very nice and chatty. We laughed a lot. I met (and had a photoshoot) with Mickael Ironside. He was the main reason I was there in fact. Great guy, very chatty with everyone. He was calling me darling all the time. When I got our photoshoot signed, he told me he was starting to look like his father I met the guys from Twilight. Justin and Alex are really nice young fellows. Seems Alex was fed up with beeing seated. He was standing up all the time. THey were both smiling and having fun. I met ( at last) Peter Facinelli , the Guy Who Put LFCC Upside Down...Nice during the photoshoot on sunday morning (I was not far from the beginning so the guy was still awake) but absolutely gone while signing in the afternoon. I really tried to have an eye contact but no. He answered me though and thanked me but he was not there with us....He was surely very tired as he had double photoshoots and autographs to do, well done: next time he won't forget his passport I met the Phelps twins: Seems they were slighly underestimated from the showmasters...And it's an understatement right? The queue for signing were like one hour long (in the morning, but I heard they got VT in the afternoon..) And the photoshoot was crazy too! But they were (as usual as I met them before) very friendly, chatty and nice, never rushing people. You can see the difference between those very nice british guys, never touching people while posing for a photo, and young american guys like Justin and Alex who'd hug you without thinking twice: It was funny to compare those educational behaviour I met Josh Herdman , nice too but I was a bit in a hurry at that time. I met Scott Bakula who was absolutely great! Even at the (rushed) photoshoot, he always managed to say hi, to smile to everyone, to thank, he was just doing his best! Great guy! The way he was eager to please the fans really impressed me! He was very nice at the autographs too. Same nice manners, chatty and everything! Nothing to compare with Facinelli in fact... Awsome guy! I was a bit afraid with the new Manga Zone, but I must say it all went smoothly, the different zones were really apart from each other and the young cosplay people were not annoying at all, thanks God. I noticed Too Tall telling to some of them to put down a ' free hug' poster nicely, which was done immediately. All in all, I really had a great time and must say the Showmasters' organisation was really good. They went through the Facinelli problem the best they could, thanks for that! Just never underestimate Potter Fans Thank you Showmasters!
  6. coucou Delphine, Je suis française et suis allée à LFCC l'an dernier.
  7. nope: I had a very large suitcase, very heavy . In fact, it's exactly like the 'left-baggage' in the airports:It's that big! Plus it's not expensive at all , though i don't really remember the price sorry. I left my huge suitcase there all day long , took it off to wear my costume , took it back...Then I was too hot: took it off , went to change clothes in the toilets again, took it back...etc...No problem, just tell the guy that you will bring your luggage back soon, and you keep the same number . I hope you understand what I mean (I'm french).
  8. Yes there is and it's really useful! When you get in, it's on your right.keep walking alongside the right wall of the huge hall and you'll find it. It's great when you cosplay too: you can leave there very large luggages etc..It's INSIDE the venue, so you've got to get in (with your entry ticket) first. It saved my life last year as I had to check in/out from the hotel too, and I was cosplaying... It's important to know I think.
  9. I was wondering too about the time of the screening and the talk after, to set all that within my already busy schedule!...
  10. Alan Rickman Jason Isaacs helena B-Carter David Thewlis Ralph Fiennes Only Rickman and I cancel my holidays too!...
  11. Luckily, i already received my tickets , here in France!
  12. And now we need Alan Rickman from 'Love actually' too... I know, I know...*sigh*
  13. I am very pleased with the line up this year. I think that for some people, the perfect line-up would tend to be a film's actors line-up( even with quite older actors), while others (maybe younger I'd dare to say?) are more into Series... That explains why last year was great for blockbusters movies lovers. I like both, though I feel more familiar with series. But it was a great experience for me last year to meet Mr Xtopher LLoyd for example! And I'm really looking forward meeeting Mr M.Ironside too, who played in some of the movies that marked my life ('Total Recall' which was a chef-d'oeuvre for me at that time for example, and still is: the F-X, the very clever script, the acting, the drame, the comedy, the dream factor: it had all!...) AND Scott Bakula, who is a great Series'actor! True that , for the ones familiar with SM's events (though I don't go more than twice a year as I come from France) I already met quite a few guests. But I went to the 1St 2 'Eclipse' and never met Jimmy J.Louis from 'Heroes', and I'm ssooo happy to meet him (actually more than Jessalyn who is sweet but I already met her!)and he speaks french too My dream line-up would be with only 2 names anyway ( Zachary Quinto , who is now in orbit around Star trek so he's too high at the moment and the wonderful british actor Alan Rickman, who's personnality is screaming 'Never going to a signing event or to a Potter Con' quite loud I think...Plus those 2 are busy like 2 bees!) so that will never happen so, I'm satisfied with what's up now!...
  14. Alan Rickman, Christopher Eccleston, Zachary Quinto, Malcolm MacDowell.
